History of the theater

Directing here is based on classics and traditions, but the interests of the public, experiments and the search for a new one are not alien to it.

Kachalovsky Theater often and successfully travels to Russia and other countries, where it is well received and always waiting. His productions are held with the same sellout. And also the V.Kachalov Theater actively participates in festivals and competitions of various levels.

In 2014 the theater underwent a major reconstruction. Now he has two stages, two rehearsal halls, many production halls, a museum, and convenient make-up rooms for artists. It is equipped with the latest technology.

The creative credo of the "Kachalovites" is "Theater for People". Here they try to preserve the faith of humanity in love, kindness, beauty and justice. This is a theater for everyone, and for students, and for the intelligentsia, and for fans of soap operas, the interests of the public are taken into account here, nevertheless this is not an institution on demand. Here the viewer is gradually raised, they solve serious artistic problems. The theater clearly has its own moral scale, which is good and what is bad. Since 1994, the main director of the theater is Alexander Slavutsky. His productions differ in originality, brightness, taste and high culture, individuality. The performances of A. Slavutsky cause feelings to awaken, to laugh and cry, to bewitch, they are often ironic and always technically perfect.

The theater employs excellent artists who can perfectly accurately embody in the scenery of the director's thoughts.

Artistic director

Kachalovsky Theater lives today under the direction of the director and artistic director in one person - A. Slavutsky.

Alexander was born in Chelyabinsk, where he graduated from the drama theater and worked in the Theater for Young Spectators. Then he received a directorial education in the famous Shchukin school. After studying, he returned to his native Chelyabinsk and worked as a stage director in the Gorky Drama Theater. Then there was Novokuznetsk, then Chita, Rostov. He was an invited director at the Stanislavsky Theater in Moscow. In 1991 he staged a play in Malta.

In 1994 he came as the main director in the Kachalovsky Theater, and 13 years later became his artistic director.

Alexander Slavutsky is a laureate of a large number of state prizes. In 1986 he was awarded the title of "Honored Artist". In 1997 he became People's Artist of Russia, and in 2011 - Tatarstan.

A. Slavutsky is a talented director and director. He is an experienced organizer and managed to gather around him interesting, creative people who are loyal to their cause. Thanks to him, the repertoire was renewed in the theater. This man managed to arouse the interest of the viewer.
