"Jodomarin 100" - intake and dose of the drug

"Iodomarin 100" is produced in tablets, the active substance in this preparation is potassium iodide. As auxiliary in this tool, silicon dioxide colloid, lactose monohydrate, magnesium carbonate basic, sodium salt, gelatin, carboxymethyl starch and magnesium stearate are used. It is not recommended to take this medication with hypothyroidism, as well as in the presence of thyroid cancer or the assumption of its development.

Side effect

Usually, there are no negative effects, but in some cases there may appear a metallic taste in the mouth, swelling and inflammation of the mucous membranes. If the drug is taken in large doses and for a long time, then there may be an iodine-induced thyrotoxicosis.

Cases of overdose

When an overdose of "Jodomarin" can occur reflex vomiting, abdominal pain, mucous membranes are painted in brown. In particularly severe cases, dehydration and shock begins. In such cases, gastric lavage, elimination of water and electrolyte balance disorders, and anti-shock therapy are carried out. If the intoxication becomes chronic, then the drug is taken to stop.

"Jodomarin 100" does not adversely affect the speed of the reaction, so it is not contraindicated for use in driving or handling machinery.
