Japanese Princess Hayko: biography, family and interesting facts

Aiko (Princess Tosi, whose biography will be outlined in this article) is the daughter of Naruhito and Masako, Crown Prince and Princess of Japan. At the moment the girl is only 14 years old, and she was brought up in the same traditions as her father, the son of the current imperial couple Akihito and Mitiko.

The birth of a princess

Aiko was born only after 8 years of unsuccessful attempts by Masako to conceive and endure a child. However, this was the second pregnancy of the Crown Princess, since the first one ended in an abortion, which resulted in public opinion. If the Empress Mitiko did not take the side of the daughter-in-law, perhaps the events would be quite different.

Two years later the tragic event, December 1, 2001, finally gave birth to Princess Hayko - a healthy and strong girl. Contrary to custom, the parents chose the name for it. It is translated as a "child of love." However, in Japan even an ordinary person has two names: child and adult. Therefore, Aiko has a second - Toshi, meaning "a man who respects others."

This choice was due to the teachings of the philosopher Mencius, in which it was said that a person who loves and respects others will always receive reciprocity from them.

The controversy over the birth of the princess

When the princess Aiko was born, there was no limit to the joys of the Japanese. What can not be said about the imperial family, the laws of which said that the throne is transmitted only through the male line. The problem was aggravated by the fact that even the youngest son of the imperial couple, Prince Akishino, only girls were born into the marriage. In fact, this deprived the dynasty of the heir.

During the discussion, the imperial family was inclined to change the system of inheritance to the birthright, which would allow a woman to inherit power even if later her brothers appear.

In 2005, a group of experts supported the initiative on this issue, and a few months later Prime Minister Koizumi devoted part of his annual television speech to discussing this sensitive issue. As a result, he undertook to present to the public a bill authorizing inheritance on the basis of primogeniture.

However, as it often happens, the politician kept silent about the exact terms of the creation and details of the document. Therefore, a year later (2007) after the birth of his cousin Ayko, Hisahito, already another prime minister withdrew the proposal to change the order of inheritance. For this reason, many people today come to the conclusion that it is unlikely that Princess Aiko will become empress.

The Princess Family

Aiko's father is Crown Prince Naruhito (born Feb. 23, 1960) - the son of the present imperial couple. The older child in the family, brought up outside the imperial tradition, like the rest of the children of Mitiko and Akihito. Contrary to the customs, it was not the numerous nannies that dealt with it, but the parents themselves, who tried to live as "simple" as possible.

Princess Hayko is also the daughter of a "commoner", because Naruhito continued the tradition begun by his parents. His wife, Princess Masako (born December 9, 1963), was born in the family of a promising diplomat Hisashi Owada. She was the eldest daughter. Beginning from two years, Masako constantly left her native country, staying for some time in the US, where she studied until the year 86, after which she again returned to Japan. As a result, at the age of 23, Masako met the Crown Prince, but his wife agreed to become only in 1992, previously denying Narukhito twice.

Aiko (princess Tosi) is the only child in the family of the Crown Prince. But, as it was said above, she has a younger cousin Hisahito - a very cheerful and cheerful child. The media refers to him as the only member of the imperial family, over which the severity of obligations still does not prevail.

Training

At the age of 3, Aiko studied at the Children's Castle in Tokyo. After another two years, she moved to the kindergarten Gakusiuin, and in 2008 she entered primary school with him. However, everything was not so simple.

Princess's classmates did not care about her high background, so the girl began to refuse to attend a prestigious educational institution, unable to withstand bullying.

Problems with the team

Japanese schools to date - a place not for the faint-hearted, as, indeed, many other educational institutions for teenagers in other countries. In more prestigious institutions, the case rarely goes to fights, but ruffles and attempts to frighten are not uncommon.

It was they who were subjected to the Japanese princess Aiko. According to her, she was not the only victim, the class boys also poisoned the other girls, jumping on them and waving their hands. As a result, Masako personally began to accompany her daughter to school, and the media was allowed to dig as far as possible to highlight the problem of violence in Japanese educational institutions.

Since the daughter - the only outlet of the Crown Princess, exhausted by pressure from the imperial court and the public, she could not allow her to be mocked. Therefore, even while she was with her during the lessons, the mother did not want to leave Masako permanently in the school and often took her home ahead of time.

Observers, however, believe that Japanese princess Hayko is growing too impressed because of her mother's condition. After all, her problems with the team are stretched from the kindergarten, where the children's environment announced to her boycott.

Today it is not known whether the problems of the princess are exhausted, since news about this no longer fall into the Runet, but if the girl's relations with society do not improve, the hereditary prince may have to renounce the right to the throne. The Japanese themselves do not want to see such an unhealthy family at the head of the country.

Hobby Aiko

Princess Aiko loves flowers and animals, so she takes care of them with her mother in Togu's palace. In addition, the girl creates pottery, plays the piano and violin, sings. The princess is not deprived of the writer's talent, so from under her hands sometimes come out whole scenarios for plays.

It is also known that Aiko is an inveterate sumo fan and is actively involved in sports, participates in competitions.

Interesting Facts

The birth of the princess was such a joyful event, which resulted in the release of a special silver coin with a circulation of 300 copies. This is the merit of the Australian Mint. Their creation was carried out in an improved technology of embossing, allowing to achieve a mirror smoothness of the surface, supplemented by a matte relief image. Such a coin weighed one kilogram and was of high quality, so its cost was very high.

Aiko's parents love their daughter very much and try to help her in everything. Partly this is due to the fact that the girl's problems have a strong impact on the authority of the couple, and the question of refusing to inherit the throne is becoming more acute.

After the birth of a cousin, the chances of the princess to take the throne became completely illusive, and most likely, the fate of Mitiko's daughters - marriage with the "commoner" and the way out of the imperial family is waiting for her.
