The proverb is a brilliant reflection of folk wisdom

The first manifestation of folk wisdom reflected and carried through the ages proverbs and sayings. In them, as in the grain, the culture of the great Russian soul is laid. Probably, it is for this reason that all great people treated reverence with the wisdom and figurative power of proverbs.

Reflecting the influence of proverbs on the work of great writers

The thematic diversity of proverbs is not the main, though very important, their dignity. Much more essential is how they express everyday life, from which side it is characterized. At one time Nikolai Gogol, captivated by the globality of the meaning of folk sayings, noted their finest expression. The writer was delighted with the way the popular attitude was reflected through proverbs: with irony, ridicule, reproaches, all those that moved and touched the living. Proverb is All-consuming passionate interest in everything that concerns the diverse life of a Russian person.

I used the picturesque power of proverbs and sayings and Mikhail Saltykov-Shchedrin. If you open some of his works, you can find interspersed with the text of folk sayings, which characterized the writer of his characters.

Ivan Krylov, Leo Tolstoy, Alexander Griboyedov ... The creative legacy of these "pillars" of literature also testifies to the great worship before the wealth of Russian folklore. Or take, for example, Alexander Pushkin. His works, where he used and transmitted this kind of folk wisdom, as a saying in verse - is Unique combination High poetry with original folk art.

But not only the classics of Russian literature resorted to the use of age-old wisdom of their ancestors. The popular modern writer Boris Akunin gives his characters a high intellect and a subtle knowledge of domestic folklore. In their mouths, the saying is the voice of the people.

The eloquent language of proverbs and sayings

The splendor and accuracy of the proverbial sayings reflect the high morale of our ancestors. "Life is given for good deeds", "Gold glitters in the mud", "Have a friend - do not feel sorry for yourself". Just a few examples, but in each lies the wealth and purity of souls and thoughts.

There are examples with predominantly giving a direct meaning: "Keep a secret word in your mouths", "Bread is not born if you do not work in the field". To each of them, you can apply both a direct value and a portable value. On the one hand, this is confirmation of the importance of diligence and its results, on the other - condemnation of laziness and idleness. As for the saying about the secret word, so here is a direct indication of the importance of preserving the secrets of its basic actions or actions.

The figurative-stylistic nature of proverbs

A small, at first glance, replacement of words in expressions significantly changes their meaning. Proverbs and proverbs are the most accurate examples of such statements. As a sample, there are two versions of the proverb about the eagle and the falcon. "The king of birds - the eagle, but afraid of the falcon" - bears a tinge of light dependence of one feathered predator in front of another. By changing the second part to "a falcon is afraid", you can dramatically change the meaning of the expression as a whole. In this version, the proverb is decisive in asserting who is actually stronger. The conclusive meaning is completely eliminated and the word "falcon" falls under the logical stress .

Private figurative-stylistic use must be able to distinguish from the general, in which proverbial judgment acquires independence, a semantic and artistic new formation. Proverbs and sayings are a vivid example of the richness of speech in general and of a particular word in particular.

Sayings for children as a method of cognition

Great importance in the education of the younger generation has folk art. Without a deep knowledge of the national culture, it will hardly be possible to preserve the original Russian character in the future. Sayings for children are used as an example of the multifaceted talent of ancestors.

For the most part, these are expressions about the seasons, about nature, about animals. Proverbs develops in children the definition of good and evil, courage and cowardice, truth and lies. The most famous and most frequently used is "Without difficulty you will not pull out the fish from the pond." It has grown more than one generation.

Pribautki - a special kind of proverbial judgments

Playful scenes transmitted in the form of brief dialogues: "Titus, go hammer. "My belly aches." - Titus, go have a kissel. "Where's my big spoon?" - most accurately convey the person's attitude to the kind of activity that is courteous to him or unsuitable for various reasons. From the jokes you can see that they possess all the properties of these proverbs. They are inseparable from the associative application to objects, only remotely related to them by direct meaning. Hunting to kissel, Titus can serve as a condemnatory example in describing other manifestations of laziness and pretense. Proverb is an irony to the highest degree.

Proverbs-jokes essentially supplement the usual types of proverbs and characterize popular speech from a very important side. They reflected the playfulness and irony of the storehouse of the people's mind - the highest expression of mature thinking.
