Inclusive - this is what? What is an inclusive school or an inclusive theater?

For a long time in the domestic educational system, children were divided into ordinary and with limited opportunities. Therefore, the second group could not fully integrate into society. Not because the children themselves were not ready for the society, on the contrary, he was not prepared for them. Now, when everyone is striving to maximally include people with disabilities in society, more talk about the new system. This inclusive education, which will be discussed in the article.

What does it mean?

Most often, the term unfamiliar to us is used in pedagogy. Inclusive is an education strategy that includes both children with special needs and ordinary children. This approach allows everyone, regardless of their social status, mental abilities and physical abilities, to study together with everyone. What, after all, is implied by inclusion?

First, the introduction of all children into the educational process through a program that is created individually for each child.

Secondly, the creation of conditions for learning and meeting the individual needs of the individual.

Inclusion in preschool

A new approach to education begins with the very first stage: kindergarten. In order to ensure equal opportunities for children, the placement and equipment of a pre-school institution must meet certain requirements. And do not forget that pedagogical staff should have the appropriate qualifications for working with children. It is also necessary to have the following employees in the staff:

  • speech therapist;
  • Defectologist;
  • psychologist.

An inclusive kindergarten is an opportunity, from an early age, to cultivate in children a respectful attitude towards all peers, regardless of their abilities. In this period of time, there are the following types of inclusion in preschool education:

  • Compensatory DOW. It is visited by children with certain forms of dysontogenesis. Training is organized according to their needs.
  • DOW combined type, where children with other needs are brought up together with children who have no restrictions. In such an institution, a subject-developing environment is created that takes into account the individual capabilities of all children.
  • DOW, on the basis of which additional services are created. For example, early warning services or counseling centers.
  • Mass DOW, having a group of short-term "Special Child".

But not only in kindergartens, they introduce inclusion, it affects all levels of education.

School Inclusion

Now we are talking about secondary education. An inclusive school assumes the same principles as the Dow. This is the creation of suitable conditions and the construction of the learning process, taking into account the individual abilities of the student. It is very important that special students participate in all aspects of school life, like the other students.

Teachers should be competent in inclusive issues, should understand the needs of all children, ensuring the accessibility of the educational process. In the school process, other specialists (speech therapist, defectologist, psychologist) should be involved.

Also the teacher should actively interact with the family of a special student. One of the primary tasks of the teacher is the education of the entire class of tolerant attitude towards children, whose opportunities may differ from those generally accepted.

In the Theatre

It turns out that the region is inclusive - this is the lot of not only educators, but also people of other professions. For example, theatrical. So would be an inclusive theater.

It is played not by simple actors, but by people with various forms of dysontogenesis (problems with hearing, vision, cerebral palsy, etc.). Work with them professional theater teachers. Spectators can watch how actors perform in famous plays, as they try to please them. It is noteworthy that their emotions are distinguished by true sincerity, which is characteristic of children.

The founders of such theaters not only help such people find themselves in society, but also prove that they have great opportunities. Of course, putting "special" performances - it's not easy, but those emotions and feelings that all the participants of the theatrical performance receive, they add confidence.

Problems of Inclusion

Despite the fact that the principles of inclusive are correct and necessary in modern society, the implementation of such a program is not an easy task. And there are several reasons for this:

  • Inadequate infrastructure of kindergartens and schools built at a time when this approach was not practiced;
  • Children with disabilities may be considered uneducable;
  • Insufficient qualification of pedagogical personnel for working with such children;
  • Not all parents are ready to introduce the child into the ordinary society.

An inclusive approach is the opportunity to create the right conditions for all members of society, regardless of their mental and physical characteristics. But in order to fully realize all the possibilities of an innovative approach, it is necessary to create the necessary conditions for its successful implementation. Russia is now only at the beginning of an inclusive path, so it is necessary to prepare not only a material, but also an educational base for the implementation of this educational process.
