How to properly care for gold jewelry?

Everyone knows that gold products are very resistant to adverse effects of certain environmental factors. However, such an ornament as earrings still require more careful care.

To restore it, you should either go to the workshop to the jeweler, or try to clean the product at home. This makes it possible to wear, for example, earrings made of gold for a long time. How? Now consider.

First, pour a small container of warm water into which to add two or three drops of ammonia. In this composition, lower the gold ornament and leave it there for several hours. Then rinse with running water, and wipe with a soft cloth dry.

To ensure that the gold things do not accumulate dirt, they should be cleaned with a soap solution from time to time. To make it, pour first a cup of warm, not hot, water. Add some liquid soap or shampoo to it. Put the gold jewelry here for 30-40 minutes. After that, clean them with an old toothbrush. After cleaning, rinse the earrings in cold water.

The third way, how to get rid of contaminants on gold jewelry, is to pour in a small vessel in equal proportions hydrogen peroxide and alcohol. There to drop earrings gold ornaments of small size. After that, close this vessel with a lid, and open it in an hour. Rinse products under running water, they will look like they just bought.

For many, the unsolvable problem is how to return the glitter to home decorations. In this case, you should pour a glass of warm water in which to stir one tablespoon of sugar. Put the decoration in this glass for the night. In the morning pull them out and polish with a normal soft cloth.

Another way how to get rid of the heavy dirt on the jewelry, is to clean it with wine vinegar. First, pour a small glass of wine vinegar and moisten it with a sponge or an old toothbrush and clean the jewelry. If the dirt is not washed away immediately, then leave the jewelry in this liquid for twenty minutes.

But, of course, in order to avoid problems with cleaning jewelry and not to fool yourself with all sorts of solutions, get a special tool for cleaning in a jewelry store. It consists of specially selected components, which carefully treat the decoration and thoroughly wash the dirt.
