How to make a parachute from paper: four options

Boys of all ages like to play soldiers. Well, what game can be without weapons, transport and suitable equipment? Of course, soldiers also need parachutes. So, how to make a parachute out of paper?

Available varieties

Of the ordinary leaflet, you can make three types of parachute: in the form of an umbrella, the usual quadrangular and with a special propeller. You can make any of them, which will seem nicer. For soldiers, small umbrellas will fit, for the technician will have to do something more massive and impressive. Of course, you can make and in the form of an origami parachute, but this is more difficult than creating the same with glue and scissors.

Lightest parachute

To make it, you need thin paper, scissors, thread reel and clerical glue. Such a parachute made of paper is made as follows. Take a white or colored sheet, cut in which you do not need anything. Using glue and small pieces of paper, you need to paste on each corner of the sheet on a thread of the same length. All four cables connect to the nail almost at the very bottom, and a cardboard box is attached to or tied to their tips. The last step: bend the parachute first along one diagonal, then on the other to make faces. Everything, the parachute is ready, it needs only to throw it into the air, where it will open itself.

Parasailing umbrella

And how to make a parachute out of paper if you want to make something more complicated? To do this, have to acquire additional materials. You will need all the same scissors, a small stick with a length of thirty centimeters, and a diameter not thicker than a centimeter, ringlets of paper, thread, thin paper or light fabric (silk will suit). First on the stick you need to paste a ring of paper, placing it on the border of the upper third of the entire length of the stick. Now a second ring of a larger diameter is glued together, so that it can move freely. It is to him that the future cables are fastened - strings. In order to keep them better, you need to make a third ring and paste it on top. Now from a fabric or paper an equal circle is cut out, its middle is fastened by a pin to the end of a stick. The prepared cables are fastened around the circumference of the future parachute. Everything, the work is finished. To make the model open, it is enough to throw it into the air as high as possible. This is why it is convenient to launch such a parachute with the help of a slingshot.

Model with propeller

There are unusual examples of equipment. For example, how to make a parachute with a propeller from paper? It's harder than making the rest of the models. It is necessary to take any stocking from kapron, thin steel wire and ordinary wire softer. Steel bends into two parts, and then these parts are bent in the form of an arc. The ends are crooked. At the ends of the wire (but not on the hooks) you need to wind a soft wire. The curved part of the arcs is wrapped in a capron. From the paper, flags and a figure of a soldier are cut out, which will descend on a parachute. It remains only to make a sling, with which you can start the resulting parachute.

Parachute from Whatman

Having figured out how to make a parachute from paper, it's easy to invent more colorful models. For one of them you need a sheet of paper, pencils or bright colors, scissors with threads, an ordinary plate and a soldier who will fly with it. First, a plate is surrounded by a plate. It turns out an even circle, from which you need to cut a sector of degrees to 15. Now, when the blank is made, you can paint it with all the drawings or patterns that come to your mind. The more colorful - the better. When the art dries, you need to make four holes along the entire circumference, and the circle itself should be glued together so that the dome turns out. In the carved holes, you should take the cables, tie them in a knot, wrap them in a soldier's figure. All you can run.
