How to get a white ticket: a dream and reality

A white ticket is the dream of almost every modern guy between the ages of 18 and 27, because even the children heard rumors about disorders in the army today. And even if you manage to ignore the summons to the military commissariat for 9 years, your peace of mind is still under threat. According to the law, if the fact of evasion from military service is revealed, when you are older than the draft age, you still face a criminal penalty and an administrative fine.

Nevertheless, there are categories of citizens who, for one reason or another, are relieved from the army. These include, in particular, people with certain health problems or young people with higher education who work in state enterprises, or children of people who died during military service. After passing the medical examination the draftee can get a white ticket and from that day on, "sleep relatively calmly" until obtaining a visa or a driver's license, although everything here depends on the reason for his inability to serve.

Is he white?

The expression "white ticket" is colloquial, and the color of this document is actually red. There are two main versions of the origin of this expression. According to the first, a ticket of this color was really issued in pre-revolutionary Russia to recruits who could not fulfill their duty to their homeland for health reasons. According to another version, he was nicknamed "white" in the Soviet times because he actually remained empty, and the graphs devoted to the duty station were not filled.

Categories of service for service

To date, after passing the medical examination conscript appoint one of five categories of fitness:

  1. "A" - is fit without any restrictions to the service in the army and is subject to compulsory military service.
  2. "B" is good with insignificant restrictions (it can only serve in certain kinds of troops).
  3. "B" - is not subject to conscription in peacetime.
  4. "G" is temporarily unsuitable, the period is determined depending on the severity of the disease, and after the expiration of the deferral it is required to undergo a second medical examination.
  5. "D" - is not fit for service either in peacetime or in wartime.

As you have already understood, the categories "B", "G" and "D" are white. For such recruits, "evasion" from the army is mandatory by law.

What is the risk of "white-litters"?

It should be remembered that for illegally obtaining a white ticket a person bears criminal responsibility under Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, as well as the recipient of a bribe. At best, he will be fined, which is 15-90 times the size of his bribe, and at worst - imprisoned for 2-12 years and forced to pay a fine in 10-70-fold. And a " bribe " official can "crack" at any moment.

In addition, a white ticket does not allow you to work in public work. Sometimes those who are exempt from service can not obtain a driver's license, a visa to some countries and the right to bear arms (including hunting). Since 2003, the white ticket has also begun to be associated with HIV-infected people, drug addicts and homosexuals. But when giving bribes , you have no guarantee that it is such an article that will not be written in your "release." Therefore, think carefully, if you really need such a "brand" for life.
