How to clean your computer of dust yourself

Now the computer is in almost every family. This before computing technology was interesting only to enthusiasts, and now even from school students require that abstracts and many other homework were printed on the printer. Students will not consider diploma and coursework papers if they are written by hand, rather than typed on a computer. In fact, there are many reasons why a family decides to purchase a computer. As a result, it turns out that a complex electronic device is bought by a person who often does not understand anything in this area. Accordingly, the phrase "cleaning the PC" seems to be something abstract.

The appearance of laptops symbolized the beginning of a new "era": now there is no need, as in the case of full-fledged personal computers, to navigate in the variety of components, their interaction, and so on. About how to clean the computer of dust, think only those users whose level of knowledge is above average. So, for many people buying a laptop and, for example, a refrigerator, is no different: we choose the parameters, buy and use, until it breaks. Alas, household and computer technology are a bit different things (although the integration process continues), so you should know how to clean your computer of dust. Note that the laptop - this is also a personal computer, only reduced size and with some features (more resistant to shocks), so all that is said applies to both the first and second.

Know that everyone in the living quarters needs to periodically clean up. Dust appears from things, from the street, even from the person constantly renewed epithelium. All this settles on things and, importantly, penetrates into the computer case and settles on its components. As a result - overheating and malfunctioning. Usually it is enough to have one cleaning in two years (depending on the operating conditions).

Often the forums ask the question of how to clean the computer of dust. Nothing complicated in this. It will take a screwdriver, a piece of dry cotton wool, a match, a vacuum cleaner (later on at this point we will stop in detail), a bit of accuracy and, of course, the knowledge of how to clean the computer of dust.

The main point: if the warranty period has not passed, then a paid cleaning will have to be performed at the service center. Otherwise, we do everything ourselves: we disconnect all peripheral devices and the power cord from the casing of the case, remember their location, then do not get confused, place the system unit on the table with the left side cover up. Unscrew the two bolts and slide the cover back.

The main "dust collector" of any computer is an active cooling system. Usually the blades of the central processor fan are covered with a layer of dust, and the space between the fins of the radiator is simply clogged. It is clear that no heat exchange can occur. We clean the radiator with a match and vacuum the vacuum cleaner (without a brush) and collect dust. Blades wiped with fleece. The elements next to the board are gently wiped with fleece and also "passed through" with a vacuum cleaner.

You need to wipe all the dust, because such disassembly is not done every day. It is recommended to unscrew the power supply unit (4 bolts), remove the cover from it and also clean it from dust. After all the manipulations, the body is assembled in the reverse order. Who knows how to clean the computer of garbage and does this not the first time, can perform the process in 10-15 minutes.

Now about the mentioned features:

- When using a vacuum cleaner, do not touch the electronic components with the handset to avoid electrostatic discharge.

- Ideal option - portable vacuum cleaner, for example, car.

- The vacuum cleaner can be replaced with an ordinary syringe. We take the body out onto the street (there will be a lot of dust) and blow out all the garbage collected by it. There will be a little "walk" cotton wool.
