Harry Cooper - the legend of the cinema

The famous American actor inspired by his work is not one generation of Hollywood filmmakers. His manner of holding and talking was copied by the boys, portraying the dashing cowboys. Childhood

(Gary or Harry) Frank James Cooper (1901-1961) was born in the city of Helena, Montana, in an English family. When his father resigned from the state Supreme Court and moved to California, the young man followed him. Thanks to the case, Frank got into the extras of the Hollywood movie and realized that he fell in love with cinema forever. He abandoned the goal of becoming a commercial artist and almost a year took part in various screen tests.

Career

The efforts of the young actor were eventually rewarded, the Paramount film studio signed a long-term contract with him after the appearance of Frank in a short film with the famous silent film actress Eileen Sedgwick. Deciding to devote himself to the cinema, Frank changed his name to Harry Cooper, under which he starred in more than a hundred films.
