Causes of development and effective treatment of chronic tonsillitis

Chronic tonsillitis - the disease is very serious and even dangerous. From a technical point of view, this disease is the presence in the body of a non-healing, constantly acting inflammation focus. Periodically, it declares its presence, manifested in the form of angina, but most of the time it acts secretly, for many years weakening the immune system, the defenses of the body, worsening the general well-being and reducing the level of efficiency. In addition, chronic tonsillitis is often the cause of rheumatism, cholecystitis, polyarthritis and nephritis.

The causes of chronic tonsillitis are tonsils, pale pink formations on the soft palate, under the folds of the mucous membranes in the very depth of the pharynx. The fact is that the entire surface of the tonsils is covered with canal lacunae, in which microscopic particles of food and various microbes are constantly held back. During chewing all the contents of the lacuna "squeezed out" and sent to the stomach. If the amygdala is healthy, healthy metabolic processes and the production of interferon, lymphocytes and gamma globulin take place, which neutralizes all dangerous microbes, leaving only non-pathogenic (not causing any diseases) in the lacunae. If these sensitive, covered with a variety of nerve fibers organs feel the effects of sudden temperature changes, attack of a large number of viruses, mechanical damage or contaminated air, their protective properties are significantly reduced, which leads to inflammation of lacunae and the transformation of tonsils into an inflammatory focus. And from this moment, and there is a need to start treatment of chronic tonsillitis

Many doctors adhere to the point of view, according to which the best kind of such treatment is the removal of tonsils, however, experience shows that resorting to this method is only when the inflammation has gone too far and complications have begun. In other cases, the ideal solution will be conservative methods of treatment, not only allowing to preserve the tonsils, but also to save them, returning protective functions.

Before curing chronic tonsillitis, care should be taken to improve the nasopharynx and oral cavity, and, in addition, to restore the disturbed nasal breathing. If all these parameters are in order, you can start rinsing the tonsils with disinfectant solutions. To do this, you can use the antibacterial drug furatsilinom, which has a serious impact on most viruses and microbes (for rinsing, you need to dissolve one tablet of the drug in a glass of warm water). The same can be done with tablets of bicarmint (one per glass of water) or with ascorbic acid (2 ampoules per 400 ml.).

Treatment of chronic tonsillitis with medications can be successfully combined with traditional medicine. A wonderful effect on the amygdala is rinsed with infusions and decoctions of various herbs - eucalyptus and chamomile, St. John's wort and flowers of calendula, and also the juice of Kalanchoe. The last remedy is especially effective - if during a sufficiently long time to dilute 20 drops of Kalanchoe tincture with hot water, slightly cool down and gargle, you can avoid serious complications of the disease or its seasonal exacerbations. In order for the treatment of chronic tonsillitis to be most effective, rinse the inflamed tonsils for a month, twice a day after meals, making a break for a couple of months after each course.

Doctors recommend, among other things, to conduct simple physiotherapy sessions, for example, massage the front of the neck, lifting the chin and performing gentle movements down, along the throat, from the lower jaw to the chest. If you do such a massage every time before you go out into the cold air or after you have abused cold water or ice cream, then no sore throat will be terrible. However, ice cream treatment of chronic tonsillitis also takes into account - this delicacy is very useful for prevention, if you eat it in small pieces, a little melted.
