Happy Birthday, Charlie!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHARLIE!

April 16 marks the 123rd anniversary of the birth of the great actor Charlie Chaplin. Behind a string of modern fighters and fiction, someone remembers his name once a year, and some even have no idea about his nature - it is unique.

Written a lot of books, made films about his life and work. I just want to remind you of significant facts that will not leave anyone indifferent.

Charles Spencer Chaplin was born in 1889 in London. Parents have taught him from childhood to creativity, as they themselves were artists of the music hall. Charles had to earn a living very early, because at the age of 10 the family was left without a father. He acted as a boy on the stage, earning a living, like his two brothers. In 1910, for the first time, he visited the United States of America as part of a touring tour with the theatrical company of Fred Carnot.

The television career begins in 1913 with the English company Keystone film, later moved to the United States, and in 1917 organized his film studio, United Artists with actors from their films Mary Pickford, Douglas Ferbanks and Griffith. The work was boiling! At that time, the "Tramp", "Department Store Administrator", "Immigrant" and others were already released. Chaplin gained independence from other film studios and was able to express his thoughts more clearly on the screen. He did not spare money. All that he collected from the rental of films - he invested in their own production. The film is not a cheap pleasure, and he took a double for a double, achieved an ideal job, mounted, kilometers of film ... He did everything to make the cinema called art . In 1929 he received the first "Oscar" for the film "The Circus" (which he himself did not like) at the very first ceremony, however, it was not called then. There were films "Baby", "Parisian", "Gold Rush", "Lights of the big city" ... "Great dictator" - the first film where the character Chaplin says.

In 1952, Charlie went to London for the premiere of the "Lights of the ramp" and did not return to the United States any more. Under suspicions of anti-American activities, he was banned from entering North America. Stoyko overcame the hardships of life. As a public, talented, rich man, he was tried in every way to expose something in some way, brought to court, not so, so to destroy. A lot of stress, various kinds of circumstances were not reflected in his films. Such a sad in life, he knew how to laugh on the screen.

In the late 1960's took up the voice of "Circus" to show his spiritual reconciliation with the film. The last tape is considered to be the "Countess from Hong Kong", 1966, shot in color, in conjunction with Sophia Loren and Marlon Brando.

Often in his films secretly from the audience played an episodic role, he was still recognized, although the name did not appear in the credits.

Few people know that the Great comedian had blue eyes - this is not visible in a black and white film. Modern producers of dances with stars would envy the imagination of a genius. Charlie combined in the frame of the impossible : boxing and tango on the same ring. A wonderful musician - self-taught perfectly played the violin and other musical instruments, despite the fact that he was left-handed. He published books , including an autobiography.

Until now, there is no such comedian who not only starred in his films, wrote scripts, directed, financed them, composed soundtracks ...

Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin passed away on Christmas Day in 1977 in Switzerland. After him, there were 12 children, 8 of whom were from the last Unoy O'Neill, the youngest husband for 35 years.

Completing these lines, I want to add that he was walking his way, joking.

Charlie Chaplin is the only diamond that has benefited mankind.

Happy birthday, Charlie!
