The music industry is also developing at a good pace, and the most promising are the members of the EXO group. A unique project has existed for more than three years, and every show or album fans around the world meet with unchanged ecstasy.

SM Entertainment

The idea of creating the boy band EXO belonged to the famous SM Entertainment label. This Korean music talent search agency was founded in 1995 by Li Su Mang. Since then, many popular bands have come out from under his wing : Super Junior, Girl's Generation, Red Velvet and others.

The company's immediate plans include the complete capture of the Asian music industry. In addition to the office in Korea, SM Entertainment has already opened representative offices in Japan and China, and only Hong Kong is missing to complete the mission.

Two in one

The idea of creating an EXO group is really unique. The label decided to reach the maximum audience, therefore under one name two projects are hidden at once.

The members of the EXO group are a team of twelve incredibly talented and attractive young people. In EXO-K, performers sing in Korean, and in EXO-M sing in Korean. Each clip, single or track has two versions, calculated at once for two countries. Agree, this is a win-win option, because the band always has their fans. In addition, all concert shows, photo sessions and interviews are duplicated.

Composition

About the creation of the boy band, SM Entertainment announced at the end of 2011 - then the EXO group was carefully concealed. Warmed interest before the premiere with the help of short promotional video, in which the main characters were represented.

The hearts of millions of fans literally from the first sound were won by twelve talented young people (age from 18 to 22 years) from South Korea and China who, thanks to SM Entertainment, got a chance to perform in the group EXO. By the way, an unusual name comes from the word "exoplanet". It is a heavenly body outside the solar system that rotates around the star.

First success

The debut show EXO-SHOWCASE was held in Korea on March 31, 2012 and in China on April 1, 2012. Viewers (according to official figures there were a total of 8,000) liked the unusual format, which meant a small concert, as well as communication with participants who answered questions from fans from around the world.

However, the show did not stop at promotion alone. On the day of the official debut, both EXO subgroups performed with the single MAMA, and in the video each participant had super abilities, for example, telekinesis, healing, teleportation and others. The next day, the mini-album was also presented in two versions. And finally the boy band in full force went on a general tour.

Developments

In 2013, EXO fans were able to enjoy a full-length album, which was named XOXO (Kiss & Hug). The first part was intended for the Korean audience, and the second part was for the Chinese audience.

Wolf's single was the main one in the album, he also made a clip, where the members of the EXO group appeared as werewolves. It was this work that brought the first awards and the title of the best newcomers to the musical Olympus.

Observing the growing popularity, the label SM Entertainment decided to forge iron. The album, released in June 2013, decided to reissue, and in August, the version of Growl was on sale.

Three months after the release of the two versions of XOXO it became known about the next record - selling 740 thousand copies. Dilute the flow of musical novelties was decided with the help of another version of the promotion - clip-dorama. This is not exactly the usual format is similar to the mini-series with the participation of charming performers, which can also be viewed in Chinese and Korean versions.

At the end of 2013 the band strengthened their success with the help of a small album Miracles in December.

Overdose

In 2014, EXO presented a mini-album Overdose only in early May, and three weeks later the first solo concert was held. With the program EXO From EXO Planet # 1 - The Lost Planet, the group went on a tour of the Asian countries, which lasted until mid-October 2014.

An important event was the launch of the official website, which today registered approximately three million people. However, the withdrawal from the subgroup EXO-M of two participants (Wu Yifan and Lu Han) a little disappointed the fans.

2015: Exodus

The loss of two team members at once to the success of the whole group did not have much influence. EXO continued to work hard and already in the beginning of March 2015 performed at the second solo concert. A little later, the release of the next full-length volume of Exodus took place. The title track Call Me Baby won 17 music awards at once.

The popular album was re-released in a few months, and in the clip for the song Love Me Right, the fans saw only nine performers - this time the biography of the EXO group continued without Huang Zi Tao.

Another return to the scene will take place on December 10, 2015, along with the release of the winter album Sing For You.

Dry

Among the Russian music lovers, the songs of the EXO band became known since 2012, but in our country the musicians managed to announce themselves only a year later when they performed at the closing of the summer Universiade in the capital of Tatarstan.

Leader of the group EXO-K and lead vocalist is Kim Chung Myung. The young man was born on May 22, 1991. At school he established himself as a responsible student, he was often chosen by the class starter and even by the deputy president of the school.

Chong Myong started his cooperation with SM Entertainment label back in 2006. Today work in the group of Sukho (stage name) combines with studies at the faculty of acting at the Korean National University of Arts.

As a true leader, Kim Chung Myong likes to bring together all EXO participants to discuss pressing issues and just chat. Do not remain without his attention and the act of three colleagues who decided to leave the team. The behavior of the retired Suho was called irresponsible.

Chris

EXO EXO Wu Yifan was well known to fans under the pseudonym Chris. The young man was born in Guangzhou (China) on November 6, 1990, and after ten years the family moved to Canada.

In 2005, the fifteen-year-old Wu Yifan returned to his hometown and continued his education at the school, but then again went to Canada. It was in North America in 2007 that Chris brilliantly auditioned SM Entertainment. In addition to musical talents, the young man had other advantages - he spoke fluent Chinese (including Cantonese), English and Korean.

Leaving the group EXO was carefully planned, because two months after the claim for the termination of the contract, Chris presented the song Tome Boils The Rain. Solo career developed quite rapidly: shooting in several films, photo shoots in Chinese versions of fashion magazines and, of course, musical novelties.

In addition, Wu Yifan is the youngest talent whose wax figure will be represented in the Madame Tussauds Museum (Shanghai).

Kim Jong Dae

Chen, or Kim Jong Dae, performs in the EXO-M. He came to the label in 2011, but unlike Chris and Suho stayed in the trainee for only three months.

Even the members of the EXO group themselves admit that Chen has an amazing voice, so he teaches the rest to different techniques of singing. Chon Dae loves R & B style, video games and delicious food.

Lei

Another EXO-M member is Zhang Yixing, or Lei. He started working for SM at the same time as Chris and was on probation for four years. In his childhood, Yixing often participated in various talent shows and was the rising star of China.

Lei was born in Hunan Province, China on October 7, 1991. To promote a career in SM Intertainment, along with Chris went to school to learn the Korean language. However, even after four years, Zhang Yixing does not consider his pronunciation ideal. When a young man misses his home and family, he writes songs.

About Se Hong

The youngest musician of EXO-K is O Se Hong, known under the pseudonym Sehun. At the time of the project's launch, the boy was 18 years old.

Representatives of the label found him literally on the street, on the way to school. The boy told about his mother's meeting, and after casting Sekhun got to a kind of "factory of stars". During the internship, I communicated most closely with Luhan, and many considered them to be brothers.

Kim Jong-ying (Kai)

Kai was the first member of the EXO, which was presented on December 21, 2011. Cooperation with SM began in 2007, when at the competition SM Your Best Contest 13-year-old boy became the best dancer.

Kim Jong-ying is a hard-working and slightly self-contained young man. Even his sisters, he did not tell us about his debut. Relations with other EXO-K participants were not easy. As a true leader, Dryo tried to find an approach and yet "unraveled" Kai not without the help of his favorite dishes.

Luhan

The second participant, who left the popular project after Chris, was Lu Han (or Luhan). He was born on April 20, 1990 in Beijing, studied in high school, and then went to South Korea for exchange, where he entered the prestigious Yonsei University.

In 2008, Lu Han accidentally met with representatives of SM Entertainment and got to the annual audition, after which he remained for internship in a large company. After a year and a half, the young man joined the EXO-M.

Career Luhan as a member of the boyz band ended on October 10, 2014 - it was on this day that the musician appealed to the court to terminate the contract with the label. For the employer, this act became a complete surprise, SM shares instantly fell in value. The official comment, as in the case of Chris's departure a few months before, claimed that young musicians made a name for themselves in the group and now decided to use this fact to promote a solo career.

Gold Bun

Like other EXO members, this became popular only thanks to the talent. In 2008, the young man took second place in the SM Everysing Contest. It is worth noting that this is almost the only musician in the group, who had to work hard on his own appearance.

During the internship, future colleagues in the boyz-band even gave him the nickname Golden Bun. Sooner or later, Kim Min Sok would have to moderate his appetite, and the label required a strict diet. In the end, the young man won, and he liked the new appearance much more.

Today, Kim Min Sok is the most athletic member of the EXO. He plays football well and often disappears in the gym. In addition, a musician is the dream of any girl, because behind the attraction lies the ability to cook, discipline and love for purity.

Huang Zi Tao

The third loss for EXO-M (for some reason the participants of this subgroup decided to choose "free swimming") became Tao. April 16, 2015 in the press appeared the father of the musician, which spoke of the lack of support from the label and a great risk to health.

Fortunately, Huang Zi Tao is healthy today and continues to work in the industry. June 11, 2015, the young man opened his own agency in China, and a month later made his debut with a video and a solo album.

Ben Beck Hen

Since my childhood I was fond of music. At school, Jungwon was one of the members of the group, which repeatedly took part in music festivals.

Listening SM Entertainment, he was held together with Chen, but after the speech of the opponent was already ready to surrender. However, two young people were invited to the internship at once.

EXO members claim that Ben Beck Hen is a real "lighter" and knows how to raise the fighting spirit of the team.

To Kyon Soo

Cooperates with the SM label from 2010. He tries to independently write lyrics for the songs and dreams of becoming the leading entertainment show. However, the best way for a young man is to perform the role of "nanny" for other EXO participants.

He loves to cook, and at any time of the day, and clean up in all rooms without exception.

Prior to Kyon-su, he was shot in the cinema and in 2014 was recognized as a young actor with three awards: Soompi Awards, 3 ^rd APAN Star Awards and 16 ^th Seoul International Youth Film Festival.

Pak Chan Yol

He was born on November 27, 1992 in Seoul. In elementary school he began to be interested in music, and several years later he created his own band. Education, the sixteen-year-old youth continued in a private school of acting, and in 2008 became an intern of SM. Chan Yol's father dreamed of becoming a singer, so he happily supported his son in all endeavors.

Today, in addition to participating in the EXO project, Chanel is actively filming in the cinema (Changsu Shop, EXO Next Door) and entertainment shows (Singles and Neighbors. The young man is called the main rapper in the group.

Do not forget Chan Yol and study. At the Faculty of Culture and Art Management he is educated with Ben Beck Han and Su Ho.

Numerous fans consider him the most smiling and positive member of the EXO.
