Garden bushes and trees are often called the pillar of design. And this is actually so. Using a variety of types and colors, you can "paint" a really bright and fascinating picture, and given the possibility of forming shrubs and giving an infinite variety of forms, you can even arrange a live gallery.

What are the qualities of garden bushes? On the practical side, they should be unpretentious, adapted to the climate and do not require special painstaking care. But the aesthetic aspect is equally important: garden bushes should be of interest for at least two seasons (but better - all four, ie the whole year). And interesting are those plants that have unusual leaves, flowers, berries (fruits) and give a delicate aroma when flowering. Hence, it is desirable to choose garden shrubs that blossom as long as possible. It is worth remembering about a good crown, which will be spectacular even without leaves, in winter. Although there is an alternative here - evergreen shrubs that do not discard foliage (needles).

By the way, since we started talking about coniferous shrubs, we need to clarify an important detail: in fact, these are trees, but only dwarf ones. So, the usual garden bushes in the neighborhood with conifers give the original combination due to the variety and nobility of the shades from bluish-smoky to juicy dark green. What to choose a bush from that variety which kennels offer? It's really hard to decide. We will focus only on a few, the most interesting.

Choisya ternata pampered you with an amazing fragrance of delicate white flowers on a background of dark green foliage. Blossoms twice - in the spring for the first time, in the autumn - again. It grows slowly, does not require special care. Suitable for solar areas, not too windy.

Tamarix ramosissima attracts, first of all, airy light branches, as if sprinkled with soft powder, ready to fly off at the slightest blow of the breeze.

Photinia davidiana - one of the types of shrubs, capable of forming around themselves beautiful carpets. White flowers that adorn it all summer, to the autumn are replaced by bright berries.

Lithodora diffusa also refers to shrubby shrubs. Reminiscent of an alpine plant. The length of the stems is more than half a meter (60 cm on average), the height is up to 30 cm. In summer it is covered with purple-blue "stars" with a delicate aroma. Slightly acidic soils are preferred.

Saplings of any shrubs are best purchased in containers when the root system is closed. So they get better, and you can transplant them when convenient for you. The main thing is that the planting time coincides with the rest time (either in early spring or late autumn). Adhere to this rule and when transplanting too overgrown bushes. Evergreen shrubs are recommended to be transplanted in the early autumn or late spring. At the time of rooting, abundant watering and fertilizing will be required, and gentle - also shelter for the winter.
