Fried shrimp at home

As you know, the preparation of seafood, and in particular shrimp, is possible in various variations, but most often the housewives prefer to cook them, not knowing what spectacular and amazing snack can become fried shrimp. Such a dish in the sauce will be appreciated by every man who will gladly try out a new recipe and will be inspired by it.

Before going directly to the description of the cooking process, I want to note that tiger and royal prawns are best for frying. Large varieties of shrimps are not only easier to cook, they look more impressive and "solid", so it is better for a festive table.

Fried shrimps in sauce

An exquisite recipe - fried shrimps in sauce, can seem quite simple (and so, in principle, it is), however, it is worth paying attention to two important points to remember about during cooking:

  1. It is necessary to observe exactly the time specified in the recipe;
  2. Do not overcook the prawns and experiment with the sauce;

So, to prepare fried shrimp, the following ingredients are needed:

  • About one kilogram of tiger or royal shrimp;
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic (to taste);
  • 60 g. Butter;
  • A pinch of ginger, thyme and black pepper;
  • A glass of beer;
  • 400-500 gr. Broth (preferably chicken);
  • 1-2 tablespoons soy sauce;
  • Half a teaspoon of honey;
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar;
  • Pinch of cloves, cinnamon and mustard.

Step-by-step recipe:

  1. To cook fried shrimp, you need to take a deep frying pan and melt the butter in it.
  2. Then alternately, pepper, thyme and garlic.
  3. In the resulting mixture, you need to add pre-cleaned shrimp.
  4. About 1-1.5 minutes it is necessary to fry seafood on moderate fire.
  5. At the end of this time, pour the beer into the pan and then take the shrimp out into any bowl.
  6. In the remaining mixture in the frying pan add broth and other ingredients specified in the recipe.
  7. After everything is immersed in the pan, it is necessary to detect the time and cook the sauce on moderate fire for 30 minutes.
  8. When the sauce is ready, it is necessary to place shrimps in it and to extinguish about 3 minutes.

At this stage, fried shrimp can be considered already cooked. You can serve them both with garnish, there and in common plates with other seafood.

Fried shrimps with exotic fruits (grapefruit and avocado)

There is another way to easily prepare shrimp with avocado and grapefruit. As everyone knows, grapefruit is a dietary fruit containing many useful components that the body needs. This representative of the citrus family is very good in combination with various seafood.

So, to prepare the necessary ingredients, you need about 10 minutes, and a similar time for cooking.

It is necessary:

  • About 2 small grapefruits;
  • A few spoons of olive oil;
  • A little chopped onions;
  • A little cumin, garlic, black pepper and salt;
  • Green onions;
  • Half a kilo of shrimp to your taste;
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice;
  • Whole-grain couscous;
  • Sliced avocado.

The first step is to prepare the grapefruit (cut it into pieces), while in the pan, water with couscous is brought to a boil. At this time, in olive oil fry the garlic and onions, adding a little cumin. Then put the shrimp in a frying pan and simmer for 3-4 minutes (remember to stir it). When you notice that the shrimps are browned, add lime juice, pepper, salt to taste, and grapefruit in the pan.

It takes a few more minutes, and your unusual dish can be served on the table. Serve such shrimp should be laid out on a plate of couscous and pieces of avocado.

You can also cook fried shrimp in batter (a test consisting of flour, eggs and sometimes starch) or shrimp with other vegetables and fruits. The principle of cooking is almost the same, only ingredients change.
