Fortunately, You Can Learn!
All people are striving for happiness, but not everyone can manage to feel happy.
Psychologists set out to find out what gives a person a sense of happiness and why some people feel quite happy and contented with life, while others do not.
Recently published in the US, the results of psychological research that have been conducted in recent years in different countries, have allowed us to identify the typical features of a happy person.
First, as psychologists have found out, happy people do not suffer from an inferiority complex. They do not compare themselves to others. Secondly, they always rely on themselves, never shift responsibility to others and do not see the cause of their failures in the external forces. Third, happy people always look to the future with opism. Thus, a happy person, as a rule, is an extrovert by his psychotype. He does not have the habit of delving into himself and his experiences, all his interest is directed at the world around him, which does not seem to him hostile.
And, as psychologists note, the feeling of happiness does not depend on external circumstances: happy people meet both among rich, wealthy people, and among the poor. Happiness is born within a person, and if this does not happen, then some external circumstances will not help the cause.
Scientists noted and one more feature: it turns out that there is a zone in the brain of every person that records pleasure. For left-handers, it is above the right eyebrow, and for right-handers it is above the left eyebrow. Happy people are marked by increased activity of this zone even when they are in a calm state. But those who feel unhappy, the activity of this zone is not enough.
Psychologists conducted an experiment: they suggested that a group of people who had insufficient activity in the brain zone responsible for pleasure should begin a special training.
To do this, they needed to carry out tasks that stimulate this zone. For example, they performed special physical exercises that contributed to the development of endorphins - hormones of happiness, at least 10 minutes a day smiling, looking at themselves in the mirror and thus training "muscles of happiness," spending enough time in a state of relaxation or active games, in the classroom Favorite business and learning energetic dances. As a result of such training, the nature of their brain activity has changed dramatically: the curve of "happiness function" has gone up sharply. Moreover, this result was preserved even after six months. Thus, scientists came to the conclusion that each person can develop the ability to feel happy. Just you do not have to wait for happiness, but to learn it in the present.
