Maxim Evgenevich Stavisky is a Russian and Bulgarian figure skater born in 1977. He grew up in the city of Rostov-on-Don in a family of engineers. From the age of four he got on skates, and this occupation immediately became his hobby. He became a two-time winner of the title of world champion in ice dancing in 2006 and 2007. Maxim Stavisky - tenfold champion of Bulgaria, was awarded the Order of Stara Planina. Participated in three olympiads and other major sporting events.

At junior competitions for Russia, Maxim began to speak with Anastasia Belyaeva. For a period of time he was left without a partner. Natalia Lynchuk and Gennady Karponosov are the new coaches of Albena and Maxim. This gave positive results, and the pair won the title of world champions for two consecutive years, in 2006 and 2007. They are becoming very popular in Bulgaria. It was during this period of success that a tragedy occurred that turned the fate of the figure skater. During the investigation in this case, Maxim announced his retirement in a big sport. The auto accident, which was the culprit of the figure skater, made him overestimate many things.

In 2008 Maxim Stavisky decides to take part in the popular show of Ilya Averbukh on the First Channel, which was called "Ice Age". For three seasons he delighted the audience with his talent and skill.

As a result of the tragedy, the Honda driver, a 21-year-old boy, died, and a passenger, an 18-year-old girl, fell into a coma. The examination revealed alcohol in the blood of Maxim Stavisk in the amount of 1.29 ppm, which exceeds the permissible level in Bulgaria (0.5 ppm). Also, the cause of the accident was a large speeding. Given the seriousness of the violations and grave consequences, the prosecutor's office demanded 2.5 years of imprisonment and high compensation to relatives. However, after repeated trials, Stavisky was given a rather mild sentence in the form of 2.5 years probation, deprivation of rights for 4 years and compensation to the relatives of the victims.

For a long time the personal life of Maxim Stavisky was in the shadows, not publicized for the general public. Once created, the sports duo gradually grew into a family one. For Maxim Albena has become a partner in sports and a partner in life. A new chapter in their long-term relationship was the birth in 2011 of Daniel's son.
