Feel the power of good by reading "Les Miserables" (summary). Hugo will shock you!

The writer Victor Hugo was a man old-fashioned and modest. In a manner of behavior, he was somewhat reminiscent of Zinovy Gerdt. With him there was a visible transformation, when he defended his convictions, expressed in oratorical pathos, personal courage. We will be glad, dear readers, if you yourself want to pick up this book after today's acquaintance with the modest attempt of the author of the article to spell out the novel "Les Miserables" a brief summary.

Hugo stood out even among the dynamic and determined Frenchmen: he was called the Banner of the Revolution. He was a staunch opponent of violence against man and an ardent supporter of the abolition of the death penalty. Compatriots, discussing the novel forged in the furnace of thoughts, feelings and convictions of the writer, converged in one: such a powerful ideological weapon against violence against man has never happened. Inspired and creative Victor Hugo wrote "Les Miserables".

The summary of the epic novel at the stage of plotting brings together two completely different people: convicted convict Jean Valjean and Bishop of Digna Charles Mariel, who had sheltered and fed the dispossessed. Jean feels hatred for everything. He is convinced: the world is unjust. He was convicted of stealing bread, which he took to feed his hungry children. Taking advantage of his presence in a prosperous house and noticing where the bishop stores silver cutlery, the convict immediately steals them. Jean is detained by the police, leads to the bishop, but he not only removes the charge from the detainee, but, after sending the police, hands him in addition to the stolen a couple of previously unnoticed silver candlesticks. This almost biblical story begins with Hugo's "Les Miserables". The brief content of the book must not miss this moment of truth, a meeting that shocked Jean Valjean and, changing his inner world, caused the desire to serve the Good. However, coming out of the bishop's house, he, still in the twilight state of consciousness, out of habit, took the money from the boy in question. Almost immediately the convict realizes what he did, repents, but it is impossible to return the money - the boy instantly fled.

Jean Valjean begins to build a new life for himself. Assigning someone else's name - Madeleine, organizes a factory production of black glass products. His business goes uphill, and he, the owner of the enterprise, who has benefited the city, becomes his mayor. Despite the universal recognition and award - the Order of the Legion of Honor - Madeleine is humble and humble. What further dynamics does the "Les Miserables" contain? The summary of Hugo in the future is presented with the involvement of the character - the bearer of intrigue, this is the ideological apologist Valjean - the police agent Javer. Paradoxically, in carrying out the misanthropic paragraphs, he acts with a clear conscience, in his consciousness identifying the Law and Good. As a real operative, Javer, suspecting the mayor, informs him innocently about the trial of the alleged convicted prisoner Jean Valjean (in fact, the innocent Mr. Shanmate is being tried) on charges of robbing the boy.

Madeleine, as a worthy person, comes to court and confesses that in reality he is Jean Valjean, demanding to release the accused. Conscious of the decision of the court receives an excessively severe punishment - lifelong work on the galleys. Fascinating his death in the sea abyss, Valjean appears to correct his sin. By decision of his mayor, the illegitimate girl Cosetta after the death of her mother fell into the family of innkeepers Tenardieu, in every way discriminated against her. Valzhan takes the girl, becomes her adopted father and takes care of her. After all, in the end, love and care are the essence of the novel "Les Miserables". The summary (Hugo) is proof of this. Vigilant Javer also arranges a nocturnal raid on Valzhan. However, the fate of the sufferers is benevolent, they manage to escape and find shelter at the monastery: Cosette is studying at a boarding house, and Jean works as a gardener.
A young bourgeois falls in love with the girl - Marius Pommersi. However, the vindictive Tenardieu negotiates with the bandits to rob and let the old man go around the world. Marius learns about this and calls the police to help. To help at the behest of the case comes none other than Inspector Javer, detaining gangsters. But Valjean himself manages to escape. Paris covers the revolution. By this time, Cosette is marrying Marius. Valzhan confesses to his son-in-law that he is a convict, and he distances himself from his father-in-law, considering him a criminal. Barricades are built on the streets of Paris , local street fights are going on. Marius defends one of them. He and his comrades are captivated by a disguised police sniffer - Javera. But the noble Jean Valjean comes to rescue that. Government forces defeat the rebels. A former convict takes the wounded son-in-law from under fire. In Javer, human feelings awaken and he lets Valzhan out. But, breaking the law, he comes into conflict with himself, ending his life with suicide.

Meanwhile, Jean is old, and life begins to freeze in him. He, not wanting to compromise Cosetta, comes less and less to her, fading away. At this time, the conscience wakes up in the villain Tenardieu, and he tells Marius that his father-in-law is not at all a thief and not a murderer, but a decent person. Marius and Cosette come to Jean Valjean, asking for forgiveness for unfair suspicions. He dies happy. Thus concludes the summary for the novel-epic "Les Miserables". Hugo genuinely believed (and led others to believe) that the coming ages would be marked by Christian values, an inner struggle in every person of the animal and immortal. A great humanist believed that the key to the future of mankind is the realization of the value of each life.

Victor Hugo's heroes are convinced romanticists, strong spiritually, possessing an "inner core", their exploits and martyrdom opposing lies, injustice, cruelty.

Respect for the French to Victor Hugo clearly manifested itself in parting with the genius writer: June 1, 1885, the French Parliament announced a nationwide funeral. 800 thousand Frenchmen were directly present at them. He and after his death served as the uniting of the nation!

It only remains to agree with the words of the short farewell word that people, like spring water, will always turn to the works of the "old utopian", who makes his "fantasies" "tremble hearts."
