Evgeny Feklistov: biography and creativity
Feklistov Evgeny Sergeevich is a Russian musician. He was born in 1968 in the city of Tartu (Estonia). In his childhood, he tried several times to get into the school choir, but the teachers did not accept the young man, because he allegedly had no hearing. After serving two years in the building battalion of the Soviet Army, our hero enrolled in the specialty of "applied mathematics" - in his words, because Boris Grebenshchikov graduated from the same specialty. Since the late 80's, Eugene Feklistov began to actively write lyrics for songs, record them with a fellow classmate. In 1989, in Tallinn, he created a solo magnetoalbum "Pathology" and performed at a rock festival, capturing listeners with the witty song "Alekseev". After these events he created his own band "Pinatel of the Ox", recorded two magnetoalbums with the musicians.
Music
In 2000, work began on a new album, already in Moscow. The composition from the collection "Yellow Eyes" took the fourth place of the top "Chart Dozen" radio station "Our Radio". More and more often the songs of the band appeared on radio stations. One of the compositions was used as a soundtrack to the popular film "Happy Birthday, Lola." Feklistov and "The End of the Film" more and more often arranged concerts.
The album "The Stones Falling Up", released in 2005, became a landmark for the band. It is with this disc that fans have an understanding of the group as a unique, original collective with their own style. One of the most successful songs of this period is the composition "Spring". In 2004, a new wave of popularity came to the band, when the song "Youth in Boots" and some other songs were heard by the audience of the famous series "Soldiers". Also, the musicians themselves appeared in the series: they played themselves, giving a concert before the military. Now in some military units "Youth in Boots" is performed as a drill song.
