For some categories of citizens in Russia, there is a preferential labor pension.   • Special closed and open type;
  • Preschool educational organizations, including school-gardens;
  • Average and primary level of vocational education;
  • A system of special organizations for children in need of a set of services.

A careful reading of the list will avoid frequent visits to the Pension Fund. The title of the position held is not sufficient to ensure that the preferential pension is paid to educators.

So, work as a teacher-speech therapist in a medical center does not allow using the service.

How does the teaching load affect the preferential pension?

The legislative base has determined the standard of hours for the rate, and from 01.09.2000 this condition is indicative for the decision on the availability of preferential service. The time limits are prescribed in the Order of the Ministry of Education of December 24, 2010 No. 2075.

Until 2000, the training load did not influence the appointment of a preferential pension to teachers, and all length of service was taken into account, regardless of the number of hours worked. Beginning on September 1, 2000, a full-time duty arises, taking into account the time prescribed in the Order.

Everything will depend on the place of performance of official duties. According to the list, a social pedagogue and a psychologist educator have the right to a preferential insurance pension in case of performing job duties in those organizations that require the direct participation of a social teacher and a psychologist. In other words, they conduct educational activities and they are entitled to a privileged pension for teachers.

Such organizations include special closed institutions for disabled children who, without the organization of conditions, will not be able to adapt in the environment. A social educator in such an institution conducts not only work with external partners, but also trains the inmates of social services (SRO items).

That is, if the teacher is simultaneously a social teacher, a preferential pension will be assigned to him.

In other cases, work on the position does not allow you to take advantage of benefits. Since obtaining a highly specialized orientation of education allows you to carry out professional activities only in special institutions.

Beneficial pension for teachers of additional education

Obligatory employment can be found in the list of institutions from Federal Law No. 781. The demand is valid from 1999, November 1:

  • Schools of the arts, including music and art;
  • Centers for the development of children's creativity and humanities education;
  • Centers of tourism and excursions.

If the specialist of this sphere meets the following requirements, in these cases a privileged pension is levied for teachers of additional education:

  • Worked with persons under 18 years of age;
  • Performed labor duties in the institutions of the list;
  • Norms of working time.

Privileged pension for teachers - changes in legislation and development prospects

With the introduction of the reform of the pension insurance system, the retirement coefficient (PC) is used to designate the benefit, or rather the scores that increase over time. So, in 2015 the PC was 6.6 and in 2016 - 9.

Since 2016, the teaching experience includes courses for advanced training in the position held. This right is proved by the exit of the Federal educational standards and the law "On Education", where the teacher is assigned the duty to complete the course preparation every 3 years.
