In total, the reserve has three main types of juniper: reddish, tall and foul-smelling. The smell of these junipers persists for many years. And inhaling it cleanses the body, contributes to its renewal. On the territory of the reserve during the excavation was found the ancient wood. And she, as it turned out, retained her scent. The fauna of the reserve is unique and diverse. In Utrish, a striped empuza, a Mediterranean tortoise, a steppe bird, and a skeletal aesculpus were found. According to general data, there are 147 species of birds in the reserve, 71 fish, 8 amphibians, 44 mammals and 14 reptiles.

In Utrisha nest black vulture, white-tailed eagle, snake-eater and many others. In the Red Book - 94 species of insects. And 20 of them live on the territory of the Utrish Nature Reserve. And 13 of them are found exclusively in this territory. In the reserve you can see rare Mediterranean butterflies.
