Elegant flowers with their own hands made of fabric and felt

For decorating clothes or interior, you can make decorative flowers with your own hands from the fabric, using only those materials and tools that are always at hand. In every house there are scissors, matches and scraps of synthetic material, in order to make simple flowers from the fabric of this enough.

Probably, you already had to cut flowers out of paper with your own hands. From fabric to make them is not at all more difficult. First, decide on the type of flower. The easiest way to make it a terry, reminiscent of a rose from a nylon fabric of any color. You can work in several ways.

Method 1

Cut out the necessary amount of petals from the tissue using a paper template. The flower is multi-tiered, so there should be at least 3 patterns - for the largest lower petals, for medium and small petals, for internal ones. It's enough 5 pieces of each size. When the blanks are cut, scorch the edges of the fabric with a lighter or a candle flame. First, practice on the scraps. This operation will prevent the threads from shedding and make the edges of each petal stiff, and the petals themselves - three-dimensional, similar to the real ones, in the form of cups. Move the fabric along the flame should be evenly, without delaying in certain areas.

Now you can proceed with the assembly. Collect the flower on a dense basis - a circle of cloth or cardboard, sometimes and immediately on the subject of a wardrobe or accessory that you want to decorate. Lay out the largest petals in the right order and grab them in the center with a thread crosswise, and then with a simple notch suture go around in a circle. The outer edges remain free. Next, do the same for medium and small petals. In the middle of the flower, make stamens from nodules or beads.

Method 2

There is an easier way to create flowers with your own hands. From the fabric only 3 pieces of different size in the shape of a flower with five or six petals are cut out. The edges of the fabric are treated similarly to the petals, and the assembly takes just a few minutes.

If you want to use more dense material in your work, for example, fleece or felt, the blanks of a multi-tiered flower should differ in size so that each tier is visible. These fabrics do not need to be processed - they do not puff up, and the slices always look neat.

Method 3

This option is suitable even for children who would like to make flowers with their own hands. Inflorescences are cut from the fabric with a floral pattern, after which the edges are processed taking into account the properties of the material. Synthetic fuse over the fire, clap the cotton "over the edge" manually or with the help of an overlock. Perhaps, someone will seem that such flowers from a fabric simple, but pasted on a card or sewn on a children's handbag they look very interesting. Of course, it is important to choose the right fabric design, from which you will cut the inflorescences, this is what determines the type of future work.

Method 4

Petals are cut out of white cotton fabric , after which they must be starched. Use rich starch, giving the workpiece a curved shape, like a real petal. In this way it is better to create flowers for the interior, which will lie in one place. If you use them to decorate your clothes - the petals become frayed and lose their appearance. Dry out starched details can be painted with a brush and paints, and then collected in a flower.

Thus, you can create inflorescences that are indistinguishable from the real ones. Of these, then it is good to make compositions, decorate furniture, walls, give to friends.

You can apply several production methods in one work at once. Everything depends on the idea and the material that you have. In addition to the threads, you can also use glue to assemble the petals - it's more convenient, and even better to take a special glue gun that allows you to work without getting stained in the glue composition.
