Drainpipes for protection against natural moisture
Modern drainpipes are able not only to protect the foundation and walls from the negative effects of moisture, but also to give a finished and aesthetic appearance to any structure. They, first of all, are designed to protect the house from premature aging and destruction, thus preserving the interior of the home. However, not all types of roofs need a drainage system. In some cases, it is not installed at all. There is no need to install downpipes on simple single-pitched roofs, where the drainage can be carried out by removing the rear cornice. This method allows you to protect the facade walls, as well as ensure the safety of the foundation.
The gutter pipes themselves are connected to the gutters by means of special elements. Their mounts are installed every two meters. As for the removal of the vertical riser, it should be located about twenty centimeters from the ground. Although the installation does not represent anything complicated, some owners, when they install a drainage system with their own hands, make a number of mistakes. Most often, they do not pay enough attention to fixing the brackets, which eventually leads to the fall of individual elements. Also, sometimes the recommended distance is exceeded, because of what sagging occurs.
