Douglas Costa: a brief biography and statistics of the player

Douglas Costa da Souza was born on September 14, 1990 in the Brazilian city of Saluca do Sul. His professional career as a football player, he started in the club "Gremio" (which gave way in his time career Ronaldinho), signing with him in 2008. The club at that time played in the Brazilian Serie A.

The player managed to register already in his debut match: Douglas Costa's goal helped the team to defeat Botafogo. This ball was the only one for the midfielder that year. In total, he managed to play six games.

Going to "Bavaria"

In the summer of 2015, Douglas Costa crossed into Bayern Munich. The deal amounted to 30 million euros: this is one of the most expensive acquisitions in the history of the club (fourth place). Douglas Costa received the 11th number, previously owned by Dzherdan Shakiri.
