Despite only one season in the Premier League in the career of the midfielder, many football fans remember the performance of the 33-year-old midfielder in the elite division of Russia.

Starting a career

Degtyarev Alexander Viktorovich was born on September 7, 1983 in the city of Novoaleksandrovsk, Stavropol Territory. From a young age, he began studying at a football school, but his professional career as a midfielder began only at 22, signing a contract with Elista, who performed in the Second Division. Successful start of the season in the first club allowed already in the summer of the same year to move to another team - the Vladikavkaz "Spartak", which was soon renamed "Alania".

As part of the club from Vladikavkaz, the midfielder continued his successful performance and contributed to her exit into the First Division. Speaking the second season for the "red-yellow", Degtyarev Alexander showed excellent performance for the midfielder, having scored nine goals in 40 meetings, and in March 2008 he joined the ranks of the Novosibirsk "Siberia".

The arrival in "Siberia"

In the Novosibirsk club Degtyarev Alexander came during the growth of the club - in 2007 they were a step away from getting into the Premier League, finishing third in the First Division. Hit in the Premier League and a minute of glory

The transition to the Higher League of Russian football provoked the acquisition of a number of newcomers to the team, because of which the list of the starting lineup found the line "Degtyarev Alexander Viktorovich" could have been much rarer. Nevertheless, the midfielder was in the nearest reserve base, but most of the time the first minutes of the match watched from the bench. So was his first match in the Champions League - in the return meeting with the Cyprian "Apollo" midfielder went on the field when the team conceded 1: 0, and in general the game did not spoil - despite the final score 2: 1 in favor of the islanders, "Siberia "Passed in the next round of qualification.

In the last round of the qualifying round, Novosibirsk faced the formidable Dutch club PSV, and the Russians held the first match at home. And that meeting was a real minute of glory for the midfielder. Returning to the First Division allowed Degtyarev more often to appear on the field, but he, having played one more season for the legendary team for himself, then changed the club to "Volgar".

Career in "Falcon"

A career in Astrakhan, Alexander Degtyarev, whose biography had a string with a winning goal in the Europa League, began quite successfully - in his debut match he was able to excel, bringing "Volgar" a draw in the game with "Khimki" - 1: 1. But at the end of the season, the midfielder did not renew the agreement, moving to the Saratov "Falcon".

In the championship of PFL, where the club from Saratov came out, Alexander played with new colors, with his 15 goals contributing to the team's exit to the FNL. The next two seasons, held in the "Falcon", the midfielder did not lower the bar, annually hammering at least 10 goals, which was a quarter of all the goals of the club. This performance was evaluated by several clubs, of which the Russian chose "Mordovia".

An attempt to save "Mordovia"

Saransk club at that time completed the performance in the Premier League, moving to the FNL, and was in dire need of experienced players to return to the Russian elite in the coming season. But, despite the arrival of Degtyarev, who scored four goals for the locals by the end of 2016, Mordovia almost said goodbye to the chances of a fight for a place in the Premier League and now struggles to keep the registration in the First Division, being on the 18th place. Nevertheless, the club's management counts on a decent result after the championship, and Alexander Degtyarev - one of the club's players, able to achieve this result.
