Dough for dumplings without eggs - it's simple, convenient and cheap

Russian cuisine is rich and diverse. One of the most famous Russian dishes are pelmeni, which are loved by so many people around the world. Recipes for making pelmeni are great. They differ not only in the different ingredients for the preparation of the dough, but also in the filling. Consider the simplest, quickest and cheapest recipe for cooking this famous Russian national dish.

The recipe consists of two parts: the preparation of dough and filling. Dough for dumplings without eggs can be prepared as follows: it takes about three glasses of flour, a pinch of salt and a glass of boiled water.

First, prepare the working surface, that is, the table where the work will be done. On a specially prepared board, we pour the flour on the hill and gradually, gently stirring so that the liquid does not spill, add water. In water, you can pre-dissolve a pinch of salt so that it does not accumulate in one section of the future test. Mix the dough carefully so that lumps do not form, and the water gradually combines with the flour. After all the liquid is mixed with the flour, we begin to gently mix the resulting mass. Do not make sharp and very intense movements, kneading dough for pelmeni without eggs, as, indeed, any other dough, because too active movements can bring the mass to the state of rubber, and then it will be difficult to roll it out on the board and in general something Do with it.

After mixing the resulting mass to the consistency of a soft and elastic dough, you can put it aside and prepare the filling. The dough should be covered, for example, with a towel, so that it does not become worn and dry. Of course, the sequence of stages in the preparation of dumplings is not particularly important. You can prepare the filling in advance, but you can first prepare a dumpling batter without eggs.

The filling is prepared as follows. We take minced meat, can be pork, can beef, mixed or in general chicken or soy - each gives preference to this or that product depending on their own taste preferences. In salt is added to taste salt and pepper, as well as chopped onions (per kilogram of minced meat about two medium bulbs). Also, you should add at least half a cup of water, so that the filling is more juicy. We carefully mix everything and put it on the table.

We take the dough for pelmeni without eggs and begin to roll it with a rolling pin. Mugs for future dumplings can be done in various ways. The most common way is by eye. The dough is cut into pieces and each part is rolled into a long thick "rope", which is then divided into pieces. Then they are rolled out with a rolling pin, acquiring the necessary shape. In the second method, the circles are cut out with a cup, glass or other suitable object from a dough rolled around the whole board, so that even and identical circles are obtained. As in the first case, in the dough carefully with a fork, put minced meat and create a form of pelmeni.

There is another fairly common way to create ravioli. The so-called, semi-mechanical. For this purpose, a special metal disc is used, which in appearance looks very much like a honeycomb: it has the same holes. A thinly rolled dough of the appropriate size for dumplings without eggs is superimposed on such a disc, then minced meat is added (all the same carefully, so as not to break the thin layer of the "wrapper"), but covered with another such thin layer and rolled out with a rolling pin. After this procedure, fresh pelmenka literally get out of their cells.

As can be seen from the foregoing, the recipe for a dough without eggs is simple. In addition, it does not require special training, shopping trips in search of numerous components. Everything is simple and easy.
