The Chinese automobile manufacturer ZX Auto is a relatively young company and has been operating in the global and domestic market since 1999. In general, ZX Auto is engaged in the production of SUV cars, that is full-size SUVs. Initially, their products were sold only in the domestic market, but after a significant investment, the entire ZX lineup gradually began to appear in other countries. Russia was no exception. In this review, we will pay attention to the full-size off-road vehicle ZX Landmark (2007). Reviews, design and technical specifications of this car - later in this article.

The appearance of a car on the world market

Thanks to the availability of two own bases and a research center, the ZX Auto manufacturer is able to produce up to 110,000 cars per year. To date, the products of this company, namely full-size off-road vehicles, are officially exported to more than 40 countries. The ZX Landmark car can be found on almost all continents and countries - in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia. It is also delivered to the Russian market. Moreover, in Russia a separate plant was built to assemble such off-road vehicles on site. In the near future, the company is going to conquer the US market, beginning the export of the new upgraded version of the ZX Landmark.

Design

The exterior of the car does not differ in relief forms and any expressiveness. The design of the Landmark is quite simple, which is quite usual for a modern crossover. At the same time, it should be noted that this SUV is very similar to the Great Wave Hover, which was produced around the same years.

The front of the car is decorated with a wide chrome grille, the outlines of which smoothly stretch up to the hood. The car's optic looks like the headlights of a Japanese SUV. The bumper, like on all "SUV", is plastic, with integrated fog lights. The power element itself is tightened upwards - this makes it possible for the SUV to pass through irregularities with a large angle of inclination of the frame. By the way, many world manufacturers are now trying, on the contrary, to lower the bumper as low as possible, manning it with unnecessary relief details and other "bells and whistles." This makes the machine suitable for use only in asphalt terrain. ZX Landmark can calmly overcome such obstacles as stone, sand, ride on dirt roads and gravel.

In total the manufacturer offers 3 different variants of this SUV. In the line of engines there are two petrol and one diesel unit. Let's start with the youngest - the first 4-cylinder engine develops a horsepower of 126 horsepower. The total working volume of this engine is 2.2 liters. The senior unit develops power already in 139 "horses". The working volume of this engine is 2.4 liters.

As for the diesel unit, its volume is 3.2 liters, and the power it develops is equal to 108 horsepower. According to the emission standards for emissions, it complies with the Euro-6 standard.

It should be noted that the whole line of engines was borrowed from the Japanese concern "Mitsubisi", which means that the reliability of these power plants can not be doubted. As for transmissions, in the Russian market buyers will be offered both a mechanical and an automatic transmission.

Dynamics

Many drivers note a good dynamic of overclocking this SUV. With its mass of 1,700 kilograms, the "hundred" it recruits in less than 16 seconds. At the same time, the maximum speed of the car is 160 kilometers per hour. How much does ZX Landmark cost?

The price for a new car in 2014 is about 560 thousand rubles. The diversity of the complete sets here is small (more precisely, one, plus the choice between manual transmission or automatic transmission), so the run-up of prices is not very large.

And yet 500-odd thousand is a good price for an SUV equipped with two front airbags, a full electric package, an air conditioner and an ABS system. The only drawback of the jeep is its "undeclared". SUV Landmark ZX knows only a few, but if the manufacturer made a good advertising campaign, perhaps, the novelty would become a bestseller. Although, on the other hand, it would significantly affect the cost of the car - and then the public would pay attention to better crossovers of brands-competitors costing from 600 thousand to one million rubles.
