"Dniester" salad: description and cooking options

Extra lightness is also given to any salad fresh cucumber. Adding it to the standard mixture, you can easily achieve the desired result. Many housewives prepare the famous salad "Dniester" in this way. Recipe in this case provides the following ratio of ingredients:

For 1 kilogram of cabbage 200 grams of fresh cucumber, a can of 400 grams of canned peas, 150 grams of cervelat (or salami), salt, 100 grams of pepper onion, pepper, 1 packet (190 grams) of light mayonnaise, a little greenery (parsley, Dill and celery leaves).

The cooking technology remains the same:

  1. First of all, the main components must be crushed. To do this, cabbage must be finely chopped using a special knife.
  2. Cut the strips of sausage and cucumber. At the same time, you can not even remove the skin from it.
  3. Randomly crumble onions and greens.
  4. Collect the ingredients in one plate and season with mayonnaise.

Salad with onions

400 grams of white cabbage ½ medium sized onions, 300 grams of canned green peas, 200 grams of smoked sausage, 2-3 grams of ground pepper and 100 grams of mayonnaise.

Sequence of salad preparation:

  1. Onion peeled off the husks, washed and thinly crumpled.
  2. Cut cabbage and sausage with straws. Those who prefer a more homogeneous mixture can use small cubes.
  3. Open the jar with the peas, and then drain the water from it.
  4. All the prepared ingredients are collected in one plate.
  5. Products sprinkle with pepper, add the right amount of mayonnaise and mix well.

Ready-made salad can be decorated with fresh herbs. So the dish will look on the table more aesthetically and appetizingly.

The classic way

"Dniester" is a salad, which many years ago was created by Ukrainian culinary specialists. Its name is due to the famous river, flowing from the Carpathian Mountains in Moldova to Odessa itself. Nowadays many people are familiar with the "Dniester" salad. The classic recipe, which was originally used to prepare this dish, provides for only four basic components:

0,3 kg of white cabbage, 150 grams of sausage (boiled or smoked), ½ jar of canned green peas and 100 grams of mayonnaise.

It is not difficult to cook such a dish:

  1. To begin with, all ingredients should be crushed accordingly. Cabbage can be chopped or simply cut with a knife. There is no fundamental difference in this. Sausage is usually cut into strips, but some still prefer cubes.
  2. Peas need to get out of the can and strain well, so that the decoction does not spoil the consistency of the dish itself.
  3. The prepared components must be collected in one container, add to them mayonnaise and mix everything thoroughly.

To give the prepared dish a little spicy, a list of ingredients you can enter a small amount of ground black pepper. After that, focusing on your own taste, the salad can also be slightly salted.
