Diklovit candles - indications for use

Candles "Diklovit" refer to anti-inflammatory drugs and are a derivative of phenylacetic acid. The active substance in said drug is sodium diclofenac. They have antipyretic, analgesic and analgesic effect.

"Diklovit" candles are a nonsteroidal drug that inhibits the biosynthesis of prostaglandins. They are involved in the development of such inflammatory symptoms as swelling and fever. The use of this tool can reduce pain in the presence of various rheumatic diseases, as well as with non-rheumatic diseases. "Diklovat" candles relieve the pain that occurs during the postoperative period, as well as after receiving various kinds of trauma, they suppress the aggregation of platelets. From the body the drug is excreted together with bile and through the kidneys.

"Diklovit", instruction for use

This drug is used in the presence of inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic arthritic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis. They also effectively help in the presence of neuralgia, sciatica, myalgia, lumbago, diseases of extraarticular tissues (rheumatic soft tissue damage, bursitis, tenosynovitis), with posttraumatic syndromes accompanied by inflammatory processes and for reducing postoperative pain. Diklovit candles help during gout attacks, with primary dysmenorrhea, adnexitis, renal and hepatic colic, infections of the ENT organs, migraine attacks and residual pneumonia.

Contraindications to the use of this drug

The presence of hypersensitivity to the components of "Diklovit" suppositories, with violations of hematopoiesis. Also, it is not recommended to take this remedy for people who have a stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer, aspirin bronchial asthma, as well as during pregnancy and children under six.

Possible side effects

"Diklovat" candles can cause such disorders in the body's work, like nausea and vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea, anorexia, flatulence, dyspepsia. There may be fatigue, headaches and dizziness. In the hemopoietic system, side effects of the use of this agent are the occurrence of thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia. Also, "Diklovit" candles can cause local irritation. On the skin there is the appearance of a rash, itching, hives and burning.

This drug causes an increase in lithium and digoxin in the blood, as well as indirect anticoagulants, quinolone derivatives and oral antidiabetic drugs. Increased toxicity of cyclosporine, methotrexate, there is a chance of developing gastrointestinal bleeding, there is a risk of hyperkalemia in the background of potassium-sparing diuretics, and the effect of diuretics decreases. Concentration in the blood decreases if, together with the above candles, the administration of acetylsalicylic acid is prescribed.

When using suppositories of cases of overdose by this agent is not registered. If the drug is taken orally, the manifestations of its overdose will be dizziness, hyperventilation, the appearance of headaches, blurred consciousness. Children may experience seizures, myoclonic disorders of the digestive tract, and impaired kidney and liver function. In the presence of these cases, symptomatic treatment is performed.

Since the use of the drug causes a slight decrease in response, it is not recommended after its use to work with mechanisms and drive vehicles. Also, "Diklovit" candles should not be prescribed to people who have problems in the work of the kidneys and liver, heart failure and in the performance of works that require increased attention and reaction.
