The drug "Dicloran Plus" is available in the form of a gel and is intended for external use. The drug is combined, its effect is due to the properties of its constituents. When applying the drug "Dicloran Plus" is a local anti-edematous, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.

This drug contains methyl salicylate and diclofenac sodium, which suppress the synthesis of prostaglandins, due to their action, joint pain and swelling are reduced, and morning stiffness and significantly increased volume of movements. Flaxseed oil, which is also a part of the drug "Dicloran Plus", has an anti-inflammatory effect. Thanks to menthol, which irritates the nerve endings, there is an analgesic effect.

Dicloran plus: instructions for use

The drug is administered in the following cases:

- in the presence of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as, for example, osteoarthritis of the peripheral joints, as well as the spine, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatic tissue damage, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis;

- with myalgia of rheumatic and non-rheumatic origin;

- after receiving traumatic damage to soft tissues.

Dosage of the drug

"Dicloran plus" is recommended for adults and children after 6 years of age, while rubbing them on the skin in the area of the lesion. You can apply this drug up to 4 times throughout the day. At a time, 2 to 4 grams of this product are applied, which corresponds to a strip 4-8 mm long, which is squeezed out from a fully open tube. Depending on the size of the painful area, the amount of the drug used can vary. The duration of treatment is no more than 10 days, if it is necessary to continue treatment, then you should consult a doctor.

Possible side effects

The use of this agent can cause some dermatological reactions, the most common of them are photosensitization, eczema and contact dermatitis, which manifests itself in the form of hyperemia, itching, papules, flaking, vesicles, swelling of the painful part of the body.

It is also possible the appearance of allergic reactions in the form of urticaria, generalized skin rash, bronchospastic reactions, angioedema.

Contraindications:

- presence of any violations of the integrity of the skin at the site of application;

- the presence of "aspirin triad" and III trimester of pregnancy;

- the period of breastfeeding;

- contraindicated for children under 6 years;

- In the presence of hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

It is also necessary to apply this medication carefully to people who have exacerbations of hepatic porphyria, obvious violations of kidney and liver function, bronchial asthma, gastrointestinal lesions, elderly people, with chronic heart failure and children under 12 years old.

As already mentioned, the drug should be applied to intact skin and avoid it falling into open wounds. Also, the use of this drug with the use of an occlusive dressing is not recommended , and it should not be allowed to enter the mucous membranes and eyes.

Since the drug is very poorly absorbed, its overdose is almost impossible.
