But there are not only confectionery parfas. The recipe for it, of course, is better known, however, it turns out that parfait is also made from vegetables, liver and meat. In any case, it should be very lush, gentle, like mousse, and served in a chilled form.

Classic

In classic parfait, the recipe of which is presented in the article, in addition to the main products, which will be discussed below, includes such ingredients as a variety of exotic flavors, various additives: cocoa, chocolate, cinnamon, rum, vanilla and other goodies.

The effect of melting in the mouth is achieved due to the fact that the parfait is initially prepared in such a way that the prepared mixture acquires the desired density with prolonged cooling in the molds.

Parfait at home

Parfait - a classic recipe and not cheap, offered by restaurants, and so many housewives believe that cooking it at home is simply unrealistic. But this is not so. In fact, in the preparation of parfait, a recipe which almost all can absorb, there is nothing complicated. The main thing that must be remembered: before cooking, all the ingredients that make up your dessert should be cooled to almost a frozen state.

American parfait

In our country, the most famous is the option of cooking American parfait. Most often it is a dessert, which is made from several layers of whipped cream and gelatin dessert with fruit and berry ingredients. This parfait can also include nuts, syrups, liqueurs and others. Do it in special high crochets so that the layers do not mix and are well viewed from the side. Decorate with chocolate powder, coconut shavings, berries, both fresh and frozen.

Cooking parfait: recipe base

Confectionery dessert is based on whipped cream, proteins or yolks, sugar, vanilla. Then this mixture is subjected to freezing in special molds. The parfait can include fruits and berries, cocoa, chocolate, cognac, coffee and much more.

So, for cooking you will need:

  • Four chicken yolks;
  • Salt on the tip of the knife;
  • One glass of powdered sugar;
  • A quarter of a glass of hot, but not boiling water;
  • 500 ml high-fat cream, they must be thick and necessarily natural.

Cooking method:

  1. Place the yolks in a bowl, salt and whisk until a stable white mass is formed.
  2. Pour hot water into a small saucepan, sprinkle sugar powder into it, mix thoroughly. Bring, stirring constantly, to a boil, after which reduce the heat and cook until uniform for about 5 minutes. Let the resulting syrup cool slightly.
  3. Further in the prepared yolks pour a thin stream of hot sugar syrup, while do not stop whipping until the mass cools. You should get a foamy substance of a thick consistency, glistening in appearance.
  4. Cream well, then beat for about 10 minutes. Penka should stand.
  5. Both masses carefully mix and lay out in a form, which is previously lined with food film.
  6. Cool your parfait in the freezer for 5 hours.

What ways still exist

Now you know the basic method of making this dessert. Let's look at other options. For example, chocolate parfait, the recipe of which is extremely simple.

In order to make your parfait chocolate, in the basic recipe is added melted chocolate or cocoa powder. If you chose chocolate, then it should be poured into the prepared syrup and stirred, and cocoa is better mixed together with the sugar powder.

But berry parf can be prepared using absolutely any berries - strawberries, strawberries, blueberries, currants, cherries, gooseberries, raspberries, cranberries and others. They can be canned, frozen, fresh, candied - everything depends on your imagination and taste preferences. Here, the berry syrup is added to the basic recipe. To do this, mash a glass of berries, mix it with 1/4 cup of water and cook until boiling, add to the rest of the recipe ingredients. Spread out such parfait layers, alternating whole or chopped pieces of berries with whipped mass, after which everything is frozen for at least 4 hours.

Strawberry parfait: recipe

The detailed recipe for this dessert is quite simple. For its preparation you will need:

  • Fresh strawberries - 300 g;
  • One protein;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 50 ml of liquid honey - if desired;
  • Thick whipped cream - 150 g;
  • Fresh mint leaves or lemon balm.

Cooking method:

  1. Rinse the strawberries and let the water drain.
  2. Make a blender of 200 g of mashed potatoes.
  3. Mix the protein with salt and whisk until foam. Gradually pour into honey, while continuing to beat, the mass should be lush and shiny.
  4. Add two thirds of berry puree and whipped cream to the mass, stir everything thoroughly.
  5. Cover the mold with food film, pour in it parfait and put everything in the refrigerator for two hours.

Prepare the parfait from the molds for dessert plates, decorate it with chopped slices or mugs of strawberries, mint leaves and remaining berry puree.

As you can see, in fact, in the preparation of parfait there is nothing inconvenient and excessively complex. In addition, you can create your own dessert using only this basic recipe.
