Costume OZK - a pledge of security of servicemen in all countries

For the safety of personnel and work in the outbreak areas of chemical or biological weapons, military personnel of all countries use special protective equipment. One of such types of overalls is a suit of OZK. It protects from the ingress of toxic substances into the respiratory tract or to the body of a person.

The OCK suit is in service in all CIS countries and is a personal protective equipment for servicemen. It consists of two main parts: overalls and a gas mask. Sometimes it can be used in conjunction with a respirator.

The complete set includes a cloak OP-1, protective stockings and gloves, made of a special protective and rubberized fabric. The OCK suit is similar in appearance to a usual cape with sleeves, a hood and additional devices, by means of which all parts of the body are carefully closed.

Each set is individual and is personally assigned to the serviceman. Personal costume OZK has a tag that is attached to the base of the raincoat. The note contains information with the serviceman's data.

The remedy is only used as a real threat, or for training purposes for training and securing skills. The suit is not designed for long wearing. Rubber material does not allow air to pass through, and the atmosphere inside the clothing with prolonged use can adversely affect the health of personnel. Therefore, a responsible person is appointed in advance, who controls the duration of classes, protecting against undesirable consequences of trained military personnel.

There are certain time limits for which the personnel need to wear a protective suit OZK and begin to perform the task. The maximum wearing time is approximately 4 hours. This is stipulated by the Ministry of Defense and the rules for the use of special protective suits.

Cloaks have four different standards, in which the height and size of a person are determined. The minimum length is 166 cm, the maximum is based on large dimensions, so suits from 178 cm and above are made. In the army, many servicemen whose growth exceeds the set limits, in this case, the OC is done on special orders. The process of providing personnel with such suits is mandatory, every soldier must receive the necessary means of protection on time. Rubber stockings also have standard sizes, ranging from 37 or more. The suit is made in such a way that it is convenient to use. This makes it possible for the personnel to change in the shortest possible time, because in combat, every second can be decisive.

According to the standards set by the Ministry of Defense, personal protective equipment can have an excellent and satisfying assessment, which is set for the time spent on dressing the complete set.

In addition, there is another type of overalls, denoted as a suit L-1 OZK. It is a light version and is also used as a protection against chemical or biological weapons.
