How ready the canvas will be soft and durable depends on the quality of the raw material and its processing. The resulting fibers are divided into three groups: short - up to 27 mm, medium - up to 35 mm, long - up to 70 mm. The latter is considered to be the most valuable and expensive, because it depends on the size, which in the end turns out the thread: thin or thick, rough or soft, twisted or elastic.
There are several types of yarn for the fabric of the wad: this is a "Peña" made from long fiber, "Cardé" - medium, "Open end" - short and the remains of the first two. Filament "Song" is subjected to additional processing, during which it removes the so-called "fluff". This helps to get a smoother jersey.
An important role in the appearance of the fabric is played by the degree of grinding of the filaments. The higher it is, the less the villi and nodules, which means that the material is more soft and elastic. He stretches well in width and sits down to the figure. The downside in the processing of the web is the twisting edges on the cut. But finished products exceed all expectations.
