Description of the variety, reviews, rules of agricultural technology and other useful information for gardeners is in our publication.

Origin

Bryanochka was bred by crossing two varieties. It's Red Dense and 8-14. Orientator is the All-Russian scientific research institute of lupine, and the author of the species creation was M.V. Kanishina - a well-known agronomist throughout Russia. Thanks to the works of this woman gardeners have received many new varieties of pears, cherries, apples, plums. In the state testing of cherry Bryanochka appeared in 2006. Since then, many amateurs of fruit trees have planted it on their plots.

Cherry Bryanochka: description, photo of the tree

The tree of this variety is medium-sized, growing to 3.5 meters. Enters fruit in the fifth year of life. Fruits ripen late. The first berries will be enjoyed in late July.

Crohn is rather rare, has an oval-round shape. Branches are sparse in moderation, have a small amount of foliage, which is good for berries - sunlight does better. Sheets of fairly large size, oval, strongly pointed at the end and on the base of the petiole, the edges are jagged. In spring the tree is covered with inflorescences, and in each tree there are three flowers. They are pure white, have five non-adjacent petals. Pistils are located on the same level as the anthers or slightly higher.

For fructification Bryanochka pollinators are necessary, ideal varieties will be Iput, Tyutchevka and Veda. Trees must be planted in one year so that the fruits appear simultaneously.

Description of fruits and taste qualities

The color of ripe fruits, their flesh and juice is bright red. Berries have an average weight of four and a half grams, and a maximum of just over seven. The shape of the fetus is broad, heart-shaped: the tip is pointed, and the base is flattened.

The flesh is dense, but very juicy, sweet. Inside there is an oval bone, it is not large, and its weight is just over six percent of the weight of the entire fetus.

Cherry Bryanochka, the description of which is produced in our article, has beautiful berries. They are very tasty, and got a tasting rating of 4.7. If we consider the composition in more detail, the values will be as follows:

  • Dry substances - 17,8%;
  • Sugar - 11,7%;
  • Acids - 0,24%;
  • Ascorbic acid - 15.6 mg per 100 grams.

Fruiting is average, it is possible to collect about 93 quintals per hectare, in the absence of frosts during the flowering period (the freezing of pestles at -3 degrees can reach 76%) - and up to 308 centners.

Planting time

In areas where the climate is warm and mild, the seedlings are planted in autumn, a few weeks before the soil freezes. In the northern regions, where severe winters are raging, it is necessary to wait for spring, and in time to load the stalk into the ground, while the kidneys are not swollen.

The variety of sweet cherry Bryanochka, like other varieties, will grow well and bear fruit on the slopes where moisture does not stagnate and the groundwater is deep. For planting, the southern, south-western and south-eastern sections are selected. They should be well warmed up and be illuminated by the sun's rays, be protected from the northern and eastern winds.

Sand, peat or clay soil - the worst thing you can give cherries. She prefers to take root in fertile loam or in sandy loamy lands.

For a good crop, cross-pollination is necessary, so the Bryanoch cherry is planted together with several varieties (2-3) of suitable pollinators or any cherries, the flowering of which coincides with the cherry.

Autumn landing

So that the tree planted in the autumn feels comfortable throughout the winter and its roots are not frozen, it is necessary to prepare the soil in three weeks. To do this, the landing site is carefully digged up, all the lumps are broken up, and 180 grams of superphosphate, 10 kilograms of compost, and 100 grams of potassium fertilizer are added to each square meter of the plot. You can also use specially designed for cherries and cherries fertilizer, the calculation is more simple: 200 grams per square meter.

If you notice that the plantain comfortably grows on your site, sorrel or sour, the soil is strongly acidified. It is necessary to lime it, otherwise the cherry Bryanochka (photo is in the article) will not be able to settle down and in the spring it is unlikely to please the foliage. For heavy lime loam will take a lot, from 600 to 800 grams per square meter. If you have sandy loam, then only 400-500 grams for the same meter. It is necessary to limy a week before tillage, since simultaneous application of this component and fertilizers is unacceptable.

The pit for cherry planting is prepared in two weeks. It should be excavated at 0.6 meters in depth, and 0.8 meters wide. When excavating, sort the soil, the fertile upper one to one side, and the lower one (empty) to the other. After that, the fertile mix with compost, superphosphate (200 grams), ash (0.5 kg) and sulfur potassium (60 grams). Refuse the application of nitrogen fertilizers, as they can burn the roots of the seedling. The stake is driven into the center of the resulting pit. Its height should be such that half a meter is left outside. Now take a little prepared fertile soil and lay it with a heap around the peg, from above pour the same layer of infertile, take it, pour and leave for two weeks.

We choose the planting material correctly

To get well, the Bryano cherry grew and fruited, you need to choose the strongest, beautiful cut. When you come to the store, do not buy the first seedling you like, carefully examine it. On the trunk of a one-year or two-year-old cut should be a visible trace from the inoculated graft. If there is one, then this is a sort plant.

The advantage of the cut will be a large number of twigs, so it will be easier to form the crown. But most of all, inspect the conductor: it must be strong and healthy, otherwise competitors may appear in the form of strong branches. Do not buy a seedling, which has two conductors (trunk), otherwise, at the time of active growth or fruiting, the tree can break between them, and this will lead to its death.

Of course, the roots should not be damaged or dry. For transportation, they are wrapped in a damp cloth, and then in polyethylene. If there are leaves, then remove them, they take away from the seedling the strength and moisture.

Planting

Before planting again examine the roots, remove those that cause doubts about your life, and everything that will not fit into the prepared pit. After this, the stem is lowered into the water for two hours. If the roots are dried, then they need to soak for at least ten hours. Before placing in the ground, if liming was carried out, immerse the roots in clay or mud slurry so that they are not burned.

Put the seedling in a pit, spreading the roots on the mound of land that you planted two weeks ago. After that, pour a layer of the soil that was below, pound, pour a bucket of water. Now fill the fertile soil with a seedling so that the root neck protrudes five centimeters above the ground. After compacting, pour again with the same amount of water.

Around the trunk, at a distance of 30 centimeters, prophesy a trench depth of five centimeters. Inside the circle there will be a place for watering, when the earth eventually settles, it will be necessary to pour a little so that the roots do not open.

If you decide to drop several cherries at once, then between the plantings the distance should be at least five meters. Cherry Bryanochka, although a medium-sized tree, but still quite large, and he has enough room for growth and development.

Planted in the spring

The pit is prepared according to the same scheme as described above, and also in the autumn. When the snow comes down and the soil a little settles, add mineral fertilizers, including nitrogen fertilizers, which are forbidden during the autumn planting. In a week you can plant a seedling. After the work done, the soil is mulched with humus or peat.

Care

In the spring it is necessary to remove all damaged and frost-bitten branches, and to process the sections with garden var. When the air warms up to +18 degrees, spraying from pests and diseases is carried out. Those fertilizers that were planted during planting, "work" for three years, after this time Bryanochka will need minerals.

In summer, around the tree, you need to loosen the soil deep into ten centimeters. Sprinkle Bryanochka in the absence of sufficient precipitation you need up to five times a season. If signs of a disease appear, do not hesitate to process it so that the crop does not suffer. In the summer do not forget about the necessary thinning, remove new shoots, broken twigs.

In the fall, bring in the roots of the means that fight pests that decide to winter in the roots of the tree. Beat the stems and bases of skeletal branches at the end of October.

Getting ready for winter

Cherry Bryanochka is a very winter-hardy variety, and the adult tree perfectly tolerates frosts. However, if the seedling is less than three years old, then it is necessary to protect it. To do this, wrap it with stucco or simple burlap. In such a "coat" cherries will be warm and cozy, it will survive the winter without frostbite. Never use lutrasil and other non-natural materials for shelter, the trees under them may stun, and this will lead to decay.

Diseases

Cherry Bryanochka is very resistant to many diseases that affect most varieties. She is rarely exposed to such diseases as klyasterosporiosis, coccomicosis and moniliosis. In order not to expose your beloved to risk, cut the branches before the juvenile begins, and all the wounds must be treated with a garden crock.

Cherry variety Bryanochka: reviews of gardeners

This sweet cherry appeared relatively recently, but immediately fell in love with people. It is praised for frost resistance, because many varieties can not be grown in the northern regions, or they bear fruit poorly. For its delicious fruit, too, fell in love with the cherry Bryanochka. The reviews of gardeners confirm the rich, pleasant, sweet taste. They write that the berries are very juicy, and are ideal for winter workpieces. It also freezes to eat in the winter. In the comments it is written that the brewing turns out fragrant, the bones are easy for their preparation to be removed. Juice is obtained more with the same number of berries, which was taken from another variety. It takes less sugar, because the fruits are already pretty sweet.

About planting and care, they write that the tree is not bad, but it still needs to be tended, as for any other cherries.
