Carrot pancakes - quick and useful!

Fans of vegetarian food will certainly like the recipe, which allows you to cook a delicious and, most importantly, a healthy dish - carrot pancakes. In addition to its unique composition, such food will make a certain variety in the diet, while it should not be considered exclusively vegetarian, as it can serve as a great side dish for meat products. It should also be noted that carrot pancakes are a great idea for moms, whose children in principle do not want to use much needed carrots for growth. The food turns out really tasty, at the same time the carrots do not lose their nutritional value.

For carrot pancakes, you can use a large number of variations of products, but the invariant component that makes up the basis is directly the carrot itself. The choice of it depends on which audience will prepare the dish. For example, carrots for pancakes, which are intended for children's menu, should be small in size and young, because only in such a vegetable contains all the necessary vitamins and elements. At the same cooking on this recipe does not take the hostess too much time, which is especially important for young mothers.

The following ingredients will be required:

- a young carrot, vitamin E in which it will be contained in the maximum amount, - 200-250 grams;

- flour - five spoonfuls large;

- one raw egg;

- a teaspoon of sugar and salt;

- half a spoonful of dessert baking powder for dough;

- a pair of cloves of garlic;

- black pepper.

In principle, variations of ingredients are possible depending on preferences. For example, for children's menu carrot pancakes will not contain pepper and garlic, but instead they can be added to the dough grated apple and a tablespoon of sugar.

The first thing you need to do to prepare pancakes is to rub the orange vegetable on a fine grater. In a separate bowl you should mix the ingredients for the dough: egg, salt and sugar, as well as baking powder. The resulting mass is desirable to whip with a whisk until some airiness is formed. Then mix this mixture with carrots, then add garlic, flour and pepper if desired. In principle, carrot pancakes and without the addition of pepper (given the presence of garlic in their composition) are quite piquant and tasty. The resulting dough will be suitable for the formation of a small form of pancakes from it. Fry them in a well-heated frying pan, with the addition of butter or vegetable oil. The process of frying is carried out on low heat and continues until a golden hue appears on each side.

You can serve pancakes from carrots in combination with any snacks. Also they are quite appropriate as an independent dish, for example, for a mid-morning snack or any snack during the day. Caloric content of this dish, in comparison with the usual cakes made from dough on milk or kefir, is minimal, accordingly, it allows to include it in various dietary menus without harm for a slender waist.
