One of these days I read about one teacher teaching my listeners grammar of English, drawing parallels between the grammar of Russian and English ... Interesting, but not always effective. First, the parallel is not always possible to hold, and secondly, much to my regret, not everyone at all and with the Russian language was good in school days. Those. We have learned, of course, the Russian language, but here the understanding of its structure and functioning is the functions of a philologist. And for the majority of the Russian people this function does not exist.

Usually, the description of the grammatical rule in the English language took up near the book page. Sometimes there were more exceptions than the rule itself. This worried me, frightened me, and, accordingly, my brain resisted in every possible way the memorization of all this.

For myself, I found the only correct method for me, the old, good cards. I had cardboard cards, the size of which was slightly smaller than the A5 format, on which I contained everything that concerns the rule I studied.

But it was not copying text from the textbook. I wrote down the rule in a schema that was visually less than a solid text on the page floor and was remembered faster and stronger.

The first exercises on the rule I studied (primary fixation) I did, holding the card before my eyes and follow the diagram on it. After a few exercises, the circuit was absorbed by the brain, and I already had a card.

After mastering the rule, I periodically looked through my cards and read the rule on them according to the schemes.

Thus, the development of grammar took place.

In general, in my opinion, it is necessary to remember two "golden" rules for mastering information:

1) Information should be visually "stinging"

2) Memorized information must be visualized !!!
