Attractions in Byelorussia: by car you can see more

Belarus is a country that is located in the eastern part of Europe. Here is the famous Belovezhskaya Pushcha, hence the glorious "Pesnyary", and only here you can buy products made according to GOST USSR. This country is famous for its beautiful nature, magnificent castles and unsurpassed architectural objects. It is best to inspect the sights of Belarus by car, for only in this way you can enjoy their splendor to the fullest. All excursions in the state begin with its capital - Minsk. The city-hero, like Phoenix, was reborn after almost complete devastation that overtook him during the Second World War. Today there is something to pay attention to and where to go.

Dabro or welcome

Inspection of Minsk begins with its airport or railway station. It all depends on how you got here. If you are going to go round the sights of Belarus by car, then start from here anyway.

National Airport Minsk 2 is located 42 kilometers from the city. On its territory there is an open-air museum in which airplanes of the times of the Soviet Union are represented. There are models of such aircraft, such as Tu-134A, Yak-40 and An-2.

The main cultural and architectural object of Minsk is the railway station and the "Minsk gates", located on the Railway station square. The building of the railway station is incredibly functional and beautiful. Here you can exchange money, buy medicines and souvenirs, and have a snack.

The Minsk Gate is two towers each eleven meters high. They are built in the manner of Stalinist classicism. The towers are on the list of the most recognizable city sights and are considered a visiting card of the capital of Belarus. The object was erected throughout 1947-1953. The left tower is decorated with a watch, whose diameter reaches four meters, and the right one - the coat of arms of the Byelorussian SSR.

Conquer Belarus

Let's go further to see the sights of Byelorussia by car. The memorial complex "Khatyn", located in the homonymous village, causes both sadness and ecstasy. The village itself was burnt to ashes along with all its inhabitants in March 1943. Only three people from the village could survive - an elderly man and two boys.

The authorities of the Soviet Union considered it their duty to perpetuate the memory of the victims of that terrible event and similar horrors of the military period. Therefore, in 1969 they opened the memorial complex "Khatyn". It includes a sculpture of an escaped old man from the village, who carries a dying child in his arms. Sculpting conveys tremendous emotional power. The prototype of the artifact was Iosif Kaminsky, a smith who sought out under the pile of corpses of his dying offspring. Every half-minute in the "Khatyn" ringing bells, amplifying the effect of what he saw.

Country of castles

Sights of Belarus, photos of which are shown in our review, this is a huge number of palaces. Each of them is awarded a separate praise and description. For example, Golshansky Castle is a monument of defensive architecture of the XVI-XVII centuries. It is located in the village of Golshany and was built by the order of Paul Stefan Sapieha in 1610. Once it was a majestic building of rectangular shape, an area of 89 meters * 69 meters. And today it has turned into ruins, which grew in shrubs. Dungeons, where in the old days the history of the country was created, are covered with earth and do not represent a special interest. The eastern wing and a pair of towers can boast a slightly better condition.

Attractions of Belarus, castles, especially, are of great interest to tourists. Another fortress can be proud of the state. This is Borisovsky Castle. It was built quite a long time: from the end of the XII century until the beginning of the XIV century. The object played a significant strategic role, for under his control there was a navigable route that passed from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea. To the present, little has survived, but Belarus can truly admire such a "hero".

Lida

This is the name of the city in Belarus. It is located 160 kilometers from the capital. Here you can also see some of the sights of Belarus. The best way to travel is by car. The settlement was located on the Lydia River and was founded in 1323. At one time it was the largest center in the country. True, it was a long time, but still ... In the XIV century, the great Lithuanian prince Gedimin laid a castle near Lydia. Around him began to form a settlement, which soon became a large and powerful city. The owners of Lida have changed many times, which left an imprint on its culture, architecture and history.

What to see here

Lida (Belorussia), whose sights - a monument to Adam Mickiewicz, the Barrow of Immortality and other objects, is an ancient city, and therefore there is much that is interesting. For example, Led Gedimin's castle, which is built of gravel and sand on a piece island. Or the Church of the Immaculate Conception, created at the turn of the past and the present century. And here you can visit the monument to Francis Skaryna, a sundial and other delightful objects.

And finally

Admiring the beauty of the country and already leaving it, pay some more attention to the museum of ancient folk crafts "Dudutki", the way to which will indicate the map of Belarus with sights. Previously, this was a farm type farm. And now it has turned into a huge tourist complex, on the territory of which there are a smithy, a bakery, a menagerie and a mill.
