Management as a type of activity in the structure of a modern enterprise

Human activity is complex and multifaceted and forms the basis of its existence. The fulfillment of the majority of types of labor activity requires the involvement in the labor process of efforts not of individual workers, but of labor collectives. The process of purposeful collective work needs its organization. Thus, management as a special type of activity of management personnel is entrusted with the function of uniting, coordinating and coordinating the actions of individual workers, groups, teams, divisions of the enterprise to achieve productive and productive performance indicators.

Management as a kind of management activity is an integral part of an efficient management system designed to promote a rational distribution of the resources of the enterprise and a purposeful organization of joint labor efforts of employees. Management as an activity type is a kind of labor process and is characterized by such elements:

-the subject of work (information);

- Means of work;

- Labor (management as a kind of managerial activity refers to the category of mental labor and is carried out in the form of neuropsychic efforts);

-the result of labor (management decisions).

Management as an activity type assumes that in the process of organization of joint work between the managing and controlled subsystems, different management relations inevitably arise. They can be classified according to different characteristics. So, in its content, management relations can be divided into economic relations (arise when solving economic issues), social (personnel issues), organizational (organizational issues), information, consulting. In the management system, the upper levels of the organization with the lower links the continuous chain of subordination, in As a result, relations of subordination and coordination can arise between representatives of different management levels. The relations of subordination are conditioned by the right inherent in the leader, to give orders and orders in accordance with the official duties of the subordinate and to demand their fulfillment. For his part, the subordinate is obliged to perform in good faith the task assigned to him in accordance with the deadlines announced by the head and the rules of official discipline.

Thus, management as a kind of activity presupposes the emergence and regulation of subordination relations between structural divisions of the management system, as well as between managers and subordinates of different levels. Coordination relations in the organization can arise both horizontally and vertically. Coordination relations between structural divisions that do not obey each other are called horizontal coordination relations. Vertical coordination relations are formed between departments of different levels of the management hierarchy. These coordination relations are formalized by the company's management in the provisions on structural subdivisions and duties of employees. They reflect the functions, rights and responsibilities in relation to other structural units and workers. Thus, management as an activity is designed to solve the following tasks:

-formulation of specific goals (strategic and current) aimed at ensuring the survival of the enterprise, its development and growth;

-development of ways (strategies) to achieve the goals, effective organization of the production and marketing activities of the enterprise based on the study of market conditions and demand from consumers;

-continuous search for new markets and the formation of effective channels for the distribution of products;

- control over the activities of the enterprise and achievement of the assigned tasks.

Management as an activity is increasingly used in modern enterprises, since it significantly increases the economic returns from production and, as a result, increases the resulting profit as a result of the activity.
