Astral projection: what is it and how to cause it?

Imagine that you lay down on the bed, closed your eyes, and when you opened them, somehow you are already hovering over your body. You are conscious, but it is not "you" with whom you identify yourself, with your face, your clothes and accessories, but the real "you", your soul. You look at your body and understand that you can move, as if you have learned to fly. You say goodbye to your body and start moving around the room, down the stairs, swim out of the door, and then you wake up. This is one of the forms of the astral projection, which is often called the experience "outside the body." Some people report that they manage to achieve astral projection when they are half asleep, while others have experienced the same thing when they were on the verge of death. Some believe that this is a horrific experience, while others consider it soothing and exciting, because it seems to them a chance to move around the physical world using only their astral bodies. If you ever wanted to try astral projection or at least just learn more about it, this article is for you!

What is the astral projection?

The astral projection is an esoteric term describing a state where the soul leaves the physical body and enters the astral body. When astral projection takes place, you understand this and are in a conscious state. Many people can look at their body and recognize it. It is said that the astral projection is an "out-of-body experience" that can be achieved during sleep, deep meditation and even when you are awake. As far as we know, most people who manage to experience astral projection on themselves are studying the physical world that they know. However, it is said that even Akashic Records can be reached from this state, and you can travel through time and even communicate with other people (and sometimes with other astral projections). It is important to note that most people do not experience three-dimensional physical limitations during astral projection. For example, many souls, being in the astral body, can soar and fly. Astral projection is very different from dreams, even conscious ones. When you see dreams, you are in an unconscious state. When you see lucid dreams, you usually realize that it is a dream, accordingly, you can manipulate events and, accordingly, control your sleep. However, when you are in a state of astral projection, your soul literally leaves your body, and you consciously control it.

Techniques for obtaining "out-of-body experience"

Although many people knowingly do not plan for astral projection, they say that you can use some techniques to help yourself achieve this state. If you are interested in trying astral projection, you should try one of the following techniques.

Technique of rope

All you need to do is imagine a rope that hangs from the ceiling right above your body, and then stretch out the arms of your "astral body" to it. You may feel dizzy, it's normal. You need to concentrate on climbing up the rope.

Watch how you fall asleep

This method will require you to make serious efforts when you fall asleep. You will need to tell yourself that you will look at how you fall asleep. After this, you will have to stay awake throughout the whole process of diving into sleep. Concentrate on every sensation in your physical body, as this will help you to move into the astral.

Wake-up technique

This is not a very pleasant technique for those who like to sleep. You need to set the alarm for a couple of hours earlier than you want to stand up, and when it taps, just turn it off. Your mind will be awake, you will control your consciousness, but your body will sleep. Next, you need to act in the same way as in the previous case.
