American actor William James Bill Pullman, films with which participation are known to each film fan, was born in the last month of 1953 in the state of New York (USA). The future talented performer was born and brought up in a large family of physicians. William has six sisters and brothers who have built a professional career in the field of medicine. In 1987, Pullman led the dancer Tamara Hurwitz to the wedding, now the couple has three children: the daughter of Maysu and the sons of Jack and Lewis.

The beginning of the creative path

After the successful graduation of the school, future actor Bill Pullman enters the branch of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst at the director's faculty.

After graduating, William James produces theatrical plays, while simultaneously teaching at the University of Montana. The stage debut of the actor took place on the theatrical stage of Broadway. Due to certain circumstances, Bill moved to Los Angeles, where he continued to build a theatrical career until 1987.

Crucial moment

Directed by director Mel Brooks in 1987, encroached on the "holy" - removed a parody of "Star Wars" called "Space Eggs" (IMDb: 7.10). • In a fantasy comedy for family viewing "Casper" Bill played one of the main roles (Dr. James Harvey).

In 1996, a fantastic film directed by Roland Emmerich was released, claiming the emergence of a new trend in film fantasy of the 1990s, the "Independence Day". This picture becomes the most popular in the US film distribution in the year 96, which is not surprising, the main characters are selected by creators with strict observance of political correctness: the heroic trio includes the faithful computer genius David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum), the black captain of the US Air Force Steven Hiller (Will Smith) and The very US President Thomas Whitmore (Bill Pullman). They are considered the central characters of the tape "Independence Day". Bill Pullman, in addition to heroism and bravado, added to his character a mass of purely human qualities. Foreign critics noted the romantic element of the film, among the three love lines was mentioned the love story of Thomas Whitmore and the first lady Marilyn Whitmore (Mary McDonnell).
