Allergies on the hands and its main causes

When the allergen enters the body, the immune system immediately reacts and begins to produce antibodies. One of the signs of this process is an allergy on the hands, which manifests itself in the form of a rash.

We know that the hands are constantly in contact with the environment, they are constantly open, because we have little to do with gloves. Therefore, they are constantly exposed to adverse environmental conditions. When the hands are under the prolonged influence of some harmful element, some rash is possible. Such a rash is called allergic dermatitis.

When the skin is under the influence of various kinds of external stimuli, dermatitis of various nature may appear. Low or high temperatures, electric current, and chemical or mechanical factors can be the cause. As a rule, an allergy on the hands occurs after repeated interference of the allergen in the body. After initial contact, the immune system starts producing antibodies, which then, after the second invasion of the harmful substance, begin to act actively.

To date, quite a lot of people, especially women, suffer from the fact that an allergy to detergents appears on their hands. As a rule, no detergent can do without strong chemical compounds in its composition. It is therefore not surprising that the gentle skin of the hands, undergoing this kind of exposure, begins to itch and become covered with a red rash. Women during washing dishes, cleaning kitchen utensils, bathtubs, bathrooms and other things with detergents are recommended to wear gloves. They protect the skin from unwanted chemical substances.

Allergies on the hands, in addition to eruption, have several accompanying symptoms: severe itching, redness, sometimes the appearance of swelling, swelling, the appearance of watery blisters. When an allergy occurs in serious form, the patient is hospitalized.

Allergies on elbows, more precisely, dermatitis, can arise due to contact with materials that cause the development of allergic reactions. Also, the cause of the rash is overeating of the sweet (as a rule, in children).

The cause of rash and itching in the limbs can serve as atopic dermatitis (hereditary disease). Its aggravation, as a rule, occurs in the winter due to the dryness of the air and its low temperature. A rash with this kind of dermatitis occurs on the upper and lower limbs, on the face and neck. However, it should be remembered that atopic dermatitis is not an allergy!

Allergic reactions on the hands can appear due to the intake of poor quality food. This is especially possible in children whose immune system is not formed completely. Allergy, as a rule, manifests itself after two days from the time of contact with the allergen.

In order to protect yourself from the emergence of allergies in your hands, you must avoid contact with those factors, which, as you already know, cause it. If you do not know exactly what you may be allergic to, you need to visit a dermatologist who will perform a series of tests and establish allergens that are dangerous to you.

If the allergy still hit your skin, remember that now the damaged areas need serious care. To avoid getting the allergen deep into the skin, use protective creams and ointments. They form a protective film, connecting with dead skin cells. The film contains the moisture that the body produces, and also constitutes an obstacle to allergens.

An allergy on the hands can hit every person. So watch yourself and protect the most vulnerable places!
