Alexey Makarevich. In memory of the musician

In August 2014, a little before his 60th birthday, Alexei Makarevich, a famous rock musician, died. He was a cousin to the well-known Andrei Makarevich.

Alexei Makarevich: biography

The former guitarist of the rock band "Sunday", who produced the notorious Lyceum group, was the author of songs, the architect and the decorator. Makarevich Alexei Lazarevich was born in 1954, on November 13.

His father, Lazar Natanovich Meerovich, worked as an engineer at an experimental plant of a scientific institute, received several patents for inventions. His mother is a biologist Vera Grigoryevna Makarevich, whose surname was later taken by Alexei.

After graduating from high school, he entered the Moscow Architectural Institute, after which he received the profession of an architect.

In the seventies of the last century, Alexei Makarevich created the "Danger Zone" group. Subsequently, it was renamed the "Kuznetsk Bridge". For a while he appeared in the ensemble "Sunday".

In the early nineties he organized the musical trio "Liceum", where the role of the leading soloist was given to his adopted daughter Nastya.

In early 2002, Alexey participated in the project "Become a star", where he selected talented young musicians.

About family

With his former wife, Valery Vernalovna Kapralova (Gichunts), Alexei was divorced.

He had two children: one daughter, Varvara, born in 1987, was native, and Nastya, born in 1977, was adopted.

Nastya's mother, after a divorce from Alexei, married a wealthy businessman from the South African Republic.

The elder sister of Alexey - Dymarskaya Elena Lazarevny, two children - Alex and Marina.

Producer activity

The group "Lyceum" was the favorite child of the musician. In this case, he not only produced a very successful project. He himself created costumes for soloists, performed the functions of a stylist. Most of the songs for the band were written by him, including the main hit "Lyceum" - "Autumn". He is the author of both music and words of this memorable composition.

In total, the group released ten music albums, such as "Home Arrest" (1993), "Steam Engine-Cloud" (1996), "Forty-four minutes" (2005) and others.

For the first time the band performed in 1991 on the television "Morning Star" with a song from the repertoire of ABBA. The following year they presented their own work "Saturday Evening" in "Muzoboz". The author was Alexei Makarevich. Photo soloists immediately appeared in all musical youth periodicals.

In the "Music Exam" (TV project of the beginning of the nineties) the group according to the results of 1994 was recognized as the best.

1995 brought the "Liceum" award "Ovation" (nomination "Discovery of the Year").

After the death of his father, Anastasia independently began to produce a pop group, somewhat changing its name.

In one of his interviews, Alexei remembered the creation of the "Lyceum". During the period when he was a member of the collective "Sunday", his sense of unfulfilledness sharply increased.

At that time, Nastya's age and development approached the level when, with the support of her talented girlfriends, the opportunity to create a youth creative team appeared. Alexei used it as a testing ground, where you could realize your imagination and creative ideas. As he confessed, at the same time, mercantile intentions were pursued.

The title embodied the idea that the young participants of the project, gradually and properly trained, embark on a professional musical path.

First in the style of the team prevailed white (shirts) and blue (jeans). This is how Alexey saw the embodiment of the band's musical language, guitar rhythms.

The most important component in this project, as a single body, was the song text.

It was inadmissible to exploit too childish subjects. White shades should have given the girls a sense of confidence and celebration. The presence of jeans spoke about democracy, which should be clear to any person on the planet Earth. The use of guitars embodied truthfulness and so on.

According to Alexey, the most successful combination of form and content was found for that troubled, rapidly changing time. He thus found the opportunity to realize his feelings.

The main feature of this girlish collective, from his words, was the presence in their songs of a certain message. Participants of the pop group came out to the audience not to demonstrate their beauty, but to bring something to everyone.
