Childhood actor

After the end of the Great Patriotic War, the grandfather and grandmother of Euclid moved to the USSR and settled in a small town where the Greek population predominantly predominated. There was born a little Euclid. The boy was born into a large family. Mom - Lamara Konstantinovna - devoted her whole life to working in a cinema. It was to her work that little Euclid often resorted to get acquainted with all the novelties of the movie. The boy's father, Kiriak Antonovich, preferred to study mathematics. As he grows up, the boy's interests change. In the middle classes, Euclid Kurdzidis is seriously fond of literature. I like the boy poems of Gumilyov and Pushkin, Nabokov's works, Gogol's stories.

Youth

In Essentuki, Euclid Kurdzidis finished 8 classes. After receiving the certificate, the future actor decides to become an actor. For this, the young man submits an application for admission to the Dnipropetrovsk Theatrical School. In the educational institution in addition to acting art Euclid is engaged in a new business for himself - studying the Ukrainian language.

In 1987, Euclid was sent to the city of Lutsk for work in a dramatic theater. Euclid Kurdzidis manages to play a few scenes before being drafted into the army. A guy is going to work in Astrakhan, in the missile forces, at the cosmodrome called Kapustin Yar.

After the army

After serving in the army, Euclid Kurdzidis decides to continue his studies. This time he submits documents to the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography, to the acting faculty. Entrance examinations, however, like all the subsequent ones, Euclid gives out perfectly. But the teachers of the educational institution do not see in the young man the future movie star. With all his might, Kurdzidis is trying to prove that teachers are wrong. As a result, thanks to his dedication, Euclid graduated from the institute with a red diploma.

Greek citizenship

While studying at the institute, the family of Euclid Kurdzidis decides to move to Greece. A young man often visits his parents. Later, he admits that he often wanted to drop out and live in Greece. But the desire to become an actor was stronger.

It should be said that in 1996 Euclid was given Greek citizenship, which he is proud to this day. It is noteworthy that in 2010, Kirdzidis is running for mayor of the city of Thessaloniki. Then the actor did not expect victory. Euclid simply wanted to raise the spirits of local residents who were going through hard times due to the poor economic situation in the country.

Work in the theater

After graduation from the VGIK Euclid Kurdzidis, whose films were watched by millions of spectators, takes part in a theatrical production called "Hamlet", where he plays 7 roles at once.
