Depending on the recipe, remove the peel and cut the vegetables into pieces. For some dishes, the pumpkin should be left whole. For example, to stuff her with chicken fillets. This is an excellent holiday recipe. Pumpkin with chicken meat will be just perfect, if you take fruits not more than a kilogram each. They need two. And also need two chicken fillets, ground pepper, sour cream and salt. Cut off with each pumpkin top in the form of a lid, with which you will cover the stuffed vegetable with baking. Cutting out the pumpkin seeds, try to keep the walls thick enough. With the caps you need to cut the flesh and rub it on the grater. Chicken fillet finely chop, pepper and mix with sour cream and grated pumpkin pulp, place in the cavity of the peeled vegetable. Top cover with lids, put in a deep baking tray with a little warm water. Bake for about an hour. This recipe (pumpkin with meat) can be changed according to your taste and preferences. You can replace sour cream with low-fat yogurt, add mushrooms or other vegetables (for example, sweet pepper or zucchini).

Meat soup with pumpkin

Rinse the meat (on a medium-sized saucepan it is better to take about 300 g of low-fat veal), bring to a boil. This so-called first broth needs to be drained. Rinse the meat again, boil it with fresh water. Cook for two hours, removing the scum with scaling. Fry onion, potatoes and pumpkin cubes in butter. Then, pour a little broth, put out until cooked and, after cooling the vegetables, pure in the blender. Dilute to the desired density of the remaining broth, add chopped meat and greens, season with nutmeg. You can cook this soup on chicken or beef broth. Another good option - with a baked pumpkin. To make it, the pumpkin pulp, after standing for an hour in a preheated oven, is mixed with browned vegetables, ground to a puree state and bred with broth. You can serve with cheese and greens.
