A toad is a mushroom that kills.

Probably, many have heard about such a poisonous fungus, as a toadstool. The fungus grows mainly in the forest-steppe areas. Of all the poisonous mushrooms found on the territory of our country, it is the most dangerous.

Why are people picking up mushrooms and take poisonous grebe. The answer is very simple. Mushroom pickers, who do not have enough experience, often confuse this kind of mushrooms with champignons. However, the toadstool is a fungus, which, when carefully examined, has significant differences from other edible fungi. Its hat has light, almost white colors, but in time it can change to grayish or white-lemon. But the plates under the hat are pure white, and, unlike champignons, they do not change their color to pink or dark. Mushroom pale toadstool has a tuber shaped leg, and in its lower part is a distinctive skirt (fringe along the circumference of the leg).

Such fungi belong to the so-called hepatonephrotropic group. In addition to this fungus, it also includes fly agarics green, lines, etc. Poisoning substances in these fungi are two toxins: fast-acting phalotoxin and slow-acting amanotoxin. It is believed that for a human, the lethal dose of amanotoxin is only 0.1-0.5 mg per kilogram of body weight. A phalotoxin will require 20 to 30 mg. In principle, according to the severity of poisoning, these fungi can be compared with the bite of a cobra or a gurzy.

It is important to know that the grebe is a fungus that retains its poisonous properties even after prolonged heat and cooking.

When exposed to toxins on the body, first of all, the lesion occurs in the gastrointestinal tract, and, consequently, the liver and kidneys are subsequently also affected. Initially, the symptoms of poisoning are manifested in the form of weakness, abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea. Then poisonous mushrooms (pale toadstool and others) provoke a condition called by doctors as "imaginary well-being". And it is very dangerous that a person after calming symptoms calms down and does not seek medical help, believing that everything that happened to him is a mere indigestion. And this leads to sad consequences. Since the later to take measures to save, the more sad can be the consequences. In the future, the symptoms worsen significantly, and, in addition to all of the above, the grebe can provoke dehydration, jaundice of the skin, cardiovascular insufficiency (due to thickening of blood and damage to the blood supply system by toxins), damage to the nervous system which is expressed in disorders of consciousness, and even To come a coma.

In recent years, the statistics of poisoning by poisonous fungi indicates an intensification of the symptoms and consequences of damage to the central nervous system of man. Such poisonings are often accompanied by increased nervousness and anxiety, numbness of limbs and pain syndrome, edemas and loss of sensitivity of various parts of the body. Physicians and scientists explain this evolution of symptoms by accumulating more salts of heavy metals in the fungi. In addition, the increased radiation pollution of the environment, the cultivation of soil by various chemicals and fertilizers, causes accumulation of radionuclides, not only pogankahs, in radionuclides, pesticides and other harmful substances.

If your relatives or you have been poisoned, and it does not matter, it's a grebe, an edible fungus, or even a "natural gift" that is well known to you, you should immediately seek help from a doctor. Do not risk your life and health, hoping for folk (non-traditional) methods of treatment. At the same time, it is necessary to require hospitals to treat patients in hospital, since it is extremely difficult to find out the degree of poisoning at home.
