PPR and pirates

And yet the most common interpretation of the PPR is the Rules of the Fire Fighting Regime. This is the name of the government resolution No. 390 of April 25, 2012 "On Fire Prevention". And on February 17, 2014, by Decree No. 113, regular changes were introduced to the PPR. Why did the "fireproof" variant of our abbreviation become so popular? Because all previous interpretations are of a private nature and concern a certain group of persons. And fire safety is a problem for everyone.

True, not everyone believes that the PPRs are personally related to it. For many managers, fire-fighting measures are limited to a fire extinguisher somewhere in the corner of the corridor (often non-working) and a tedious picky firefighter, who has to "solve problems". But a man with a fantasy who suddenly decided to become acquainted with the PPR, it may seem that he is reading a thriller. It is enough only to imagine what consequences can happen if one ignores the requirements of these rules.

The rules of the fire regime are a typical clerical sample consisting of almost five hundred items with tables and covering almost all vital spheres. Read such a document, frankly, boring. Do not read - scary. According to competent experts, each similar paper is written with human blood. That is, somewhere there is a big trouble, people are dying. Organizational conclusions are made, and an instruction is created, the purpose of which is to prevent such ills. But for the vast majority of us, all these instructions are empty pieces of paper that are not relevant to us and do not deserve special attention. Is it any wonder that people continue to die?

Let's at least skim through the PPP points. Some of them refer to objects in which people are at night (hospitals, nursing homes, etc.). The detailed provisions on the 24-hour duty of maintenance personnel, on additional outputs, on the evacuation of disabled people and the elderly in the event of a fire. If all this was meticulously carried out, would many people have died in recent years in the event of the fire of such institutions?

The rules clearly describe the mode of action of city and township administrations and individuals in the case of dry windy weather. This and a complete ban on the cultivation of fires, this is the creation of water reserves, this is regular citizens watch. If you comply with at least some of these requirements, would there be annually as many forest fires? Would there be so many people and buildings? Would the country suffer such huge losses?

The PPR instruction is a document with which it is often prescribed to get acquainted with the painting. And we mindlessly sign, not bothering ourselves with even the slightest immersion in the text. Probably, this is how the human consciousness is arranged: a man persuades himself that with him something bad will not exactly happen! But is not the price of such carelessness too great?

Here is the point of the PPR, addressed to almost every one of us: the ban on storing storerooms and storerooms in floor corridors and staircases, storing furniture and other combustible materials in them. But in fact it already became a norm: to allocate on a staircase a separate vestibule in front of the entrance to the apartment, to strengthen it with a metal door and to store in it any junk. Yes, probably, it is convenient. Only is it worth any junk (and nothing valuable in such tambours usually do not store!) Human victims? But they will certainly be, if accidentally burning up trash block the exit from the apartment!

It remains only to call each of us to consciousness. Because PPR is serious!
