Zyuznik European: description, therapeutic properties, use and contraindications

The plant, also referred to as "marsh grass", "heart grass", "wolf's paw", "forest koppel", "wild mother", is 25-100 cm tall and is widespread in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Western and Eastern Siberia, the Caucasus.

In Ukraine, perennial grass is called "wolf" because of the similarity of flower petals with wolf traces. Through the water stomata placed on the leaves, the plant releases a large amount of moisture. Hanging droplets slowly drain, as if from the clothes of a zyuzi - a man caught in the rain. This similarity gave the perennial Russian the name "zyuznik".

Description

Zyuznik European - the plant is not luxuriant, it has a tetrahedral, erect, branched in the upper part of the stem with oppositely located leaves of an oblong-serrate shape: the lower ones have petioles, the upper ones have sessile leaves. Inflorescences are located in the leaf axils of the grass of the European zyuznik, which are false whorls.

Flowers white, small, regular funnel-shaped, with a 4-separate corolla in a bright purple spot on the lip and throat, produce a specific flavor. Root is fusiform. Fruits are smooth nuts. July-September is the time when the European zucchini blooms. Collection, application of the aerial parts of the plant (flowers, stems, leaves) for medicinal purposes is recommended during this period, when the greatest accumulation of essential oil occurs. Treatment of hyperthyroidism

Zyuznik European, the medicinal properties of which are appreciated by folk medicine, has soothing, haemostatic, diuretic, analgesic, antipyretic and antipyretic properties. An important active substance in the plant is lithospermic acid, which is involved in the treatment of many forms of hyperthyroidism - a common hormonal disease caused by excessive activity of the thyroid gland.

Application zyuznika European

In folk medicine to restore the thyroid gland is recommended the use of tea from zyuznik, for the preparation of which requires 2 teaspoons of dry herbs to brew a glass of boiling water, insist 10 minutes, then strain and take small gulps in a warm form. Daily norm - 2 cups, the duration of treatment is 3-4 weeks.

The increased thyroid function can be normalized with the following collection: 2 parts of the European zyuznik, plantain, hawthorn fruit, strawberry leaf and 1 part of lemon balm, sage, mistletoe. Ingredients grind, combine. For 0.5 liters of water, take 15 grams of this collection, boil for 5-7 minutes, insist for about an hour. Strain. Add 100 drops of tincture, obtained by mixing in the same parts of infusions of hops, motherwort, hawthorn, mint and valerian, as well as 10 grams of juice of the turn (or motherwort) and honey in the amount of 1 tablespoon. A healer should be taken 20 minutes before meals, 100 ml, 4 times a day.

Recipe for medical infusion

In case of serious heart diseases and heart palpitations, a unique infusion of zyuznik is used, which, together with the basic drug therapy, helps to get rid of vegetative vascular dystonia. For the preparation of medicinal products 1 tbsp. A spoonful of chopped dried grass is required to pour boiling water (300 grams) and leave in a dark place for a couple of hours. Strain. Use 4 times a day for 50 ml 20 minutes before eating. Duration of treatment is about 3 weeks. You can resume the course after a week-long break.

Alcohol tincture from the European zoozer

Alcohol tincture from zyuznik is prepared as follows: the crushed dry grass is required to dilute with vodka in a proportion of 1: 5 or alcohol - 1:10, to insist 2 weeks in a warm place, periodically shaking. Take with a piece of sugar, which is required to moisten 10-15 drops and chew until completely dissolved. This method causes the rapid transport of biologically active substances into the body and their complete assimilation. 25-30 drops of vodka can be drunk with half a glass of water three times a day.

If the drug is inadequate, an incomplete teaspoon of the wiped leaves of the plant is recommended, which must be chewed until the fragments and fibers are completely softened. Wash with clean water. Powder and infusion should be consumed before meals.

Zyuznik European: contraindications

It is not recommended to use drugs on the basis of zyuznik to pregnant women and children under 12 years of age. Patients with diffuse goiter and hypertension use only after consulting a doctor. A fairly long reception and an overestimated dosage of the drug can adversely affect the work of the pancreas.

The use of zyuznik in all dosage forms helps to cope not only with mild symptoms of hyperthyroidism and hyperthyroidism, but also with persistent manifestations of a chronic disease.
