You need to know the beginner interpreter!

Translation is one of those kinds of activities of importance that can not be underestimated. I interpret the meaning of information in one language and, creating its equivalent on another, making only a small mistake, it is easy to lose the meaning of the text or completely change it. And because of this, there may be a misunderstanding of the transmitted information, which usually leads to undesirable consequences.

Quality translation always depended on the person carrying it out. Trying to get a good translation of the text, without attracting human resources, a lot of programs were created, ready to help you make oral or written translation. But, unfortunately, it is not a secret that the results of such transfers can not yet be called qualitative.

Basic rules of quality translation

Since the purpose of translation is always the same - to get the same meaning of the two sources of source and translated, then when translating, you need to pay more attention to the basic rules of translation.

Lexicon

In order to take the translation into operation it is necessary to have at least a basic vocabulary, a set of the most used words and expressions, verb forms and the terminology of the branch in which you will perform the translation.

Basics of grammar

Without knowledge of the grammar of the language, it is impossible to understand the meaning of the text, even if you know the translation of all words. Grammar frames the words, making them related, to express a certain thought. Therefore, without knowledge of the basics of grammar, you should not start translating.

Translation Techniques

Skills in translation techniques come with time, but for a quick and good translation it is necessary. And it implies the possession of the following two skills: accurately conduct a syntactic analysis of the affiliation of words to certain parts of speech and the ability to work with the dictionary.

Difficulties of translation from mother tongue to foreign language

For a beginner interpreter, it will certainly be easier to start with translations from a foreign language into your native language. For example, it is much easier to translate English into Russian than vice versa. After all, in your own language it is easier to formulate a sentence and to convey the meaning of the original text in those turns and structures that have been used to since childhood. But to formulate a thought in a foreign language, even with a good knowledge base, it will be difficult to begin with. You need to learn to think in the language you are translating to, but this only comes with practice.

Also great attention to beginner translators is worth giving to phraseological units and stable expressions that exist in all languages. And without knowledge of even the most used of them, it is difficult to make a translation into a foreign language of high quality.
