Writer Postnikov Valentin: biography, books, photo

It seemed that fate itself predetermined his creative path. Still, my father is a well-known storyteller, who created the popular children's magazine "Merry Pictures" in the past, and his mother worked as an editor not by the ordinary publishing house "Kid". Postnikov Valentin followed in the footsteps of his parent, continuing to write fairy tales about Samodelkin and Pencil. Today, he continues to resurrect the once-forgotten fairy-tale brands of Russian culture. And whether they will again be in demand - largely depends on the dads and moms.

One way or another, but the children's writer Postnikov Vladimir took place in the chosen profession, which, of course, has a specific character at the present time. He can be proud of his regalia: Member of the Union of Writers of the Russian Federation, laureate of the awards "Artiada", "Golden Pen of Russia", "Eureka". How did the son of the creator of the famous "Jolly Pictures" come to give the kids laughter and joy by writing adventure stories about Pencil and Samodelkin. Let's consider this issue in more detail.

Years of Youth

Postnikov Valentin Yuryevich is a native of the Russian capital. He was born on August 4, 1970 (Tushino district).

He began to come into contact with the writer's environment from early childhood, as well-known masters of the word visited his house, among them: Grigory Oster, Eduard Uspensky, Valery Shulzhik, Yefim Chepovetsky. Interest in fairy tales from a young age instilled in the boy and his father - Yuri Druzhkov. Together with his young son, he tried to compose adventure stories.

First Glory

At the age of five, Postnikov Valentin surprised his parents by depicting on paper the illustration "Tiger cub on a sunflower". Imagine their surprise when they learned that this work won first place in the competition of children's drawings. Young Postnikov Valentin was beside himself with happiness, because his "Tiger cub on the sunflower" got on the pages of "Funny Pictures".

After a short time writer Yuri Koval thought up a fairy tale about a striped hero, and then, based on her motives, a cartoon film was also made, which was a huge success for children.

Unsuccessful career

Having received the certificate of maturity, Postnikov Valentin, whose biography is interesting to many, gets a job at the prosecutor's office as a secretary. This turn in career, of course, can not be called expected. Meanwhile, the young man dreamed of doing detective work. But this requires a special education, but he was attracted to even the lowest position, most importantly, that he works in the prosecutor's office. Soon the young man receives a summons from the military registration and enlistment office. Valentin Postnikov serves in the city of Pavlovsk, hitting the communications forces. It was in the army that he mastered the printing business, skillfully and quickly typing the text on the typewriter.

Having given the debt to the Motherland, the young man submits the documents to the Law Institute in order to translate his youthful dream into reality. He acts, but after some time he realizes that jurisprudence is still not his path. Nevertheless, the young man did not want to leave the law school.

Looking for yourself

In the early 90's, Valentin Yuryevich is employed in the MSU scientific library, where he is offered the position of editor. And he began to delve into the specifics of the previously unexplored business for himself. After a while, Postnikov felt himself drawn to writing. However, he was overcome by some doubts: he remembered how sometimes he could not easily write compositions at school. Everything was decided by itself. In a dream the young man saw his own father, who told him encouragingly: "Do not be afraid, son, just start creating!". After awakening, the young man moved the photo of the parent from the shelf to his desk, opened the notebook, armed himself with a pen and began composing.

The debut in creativity

So from under the pen came the first tale called "The New Adventures of Pencil and Samodelkin." Valentin Yuryevich loved these heroes from childhood, so the idea to continue the work of his father and write a sequel about these heroes was the leitmotif of his work.

The publishing house printed the first fairy tale of Postnikov in 1996. She was waiting for success!

Talent is revealed ...

After the "New Adventures" Valentin Postnikov (children's writer) released 10 more books about the beloved heroes. All of them are cognitive in nature. In the process of creativity, the storyteller sat in the library from morning till night to quickly find facts understandable for small readers from geography, history, astronomy and biology. It was these that were the basis of his adventures. It is the children that the writer considers the main experts of his work, for them and only for them he composes. And some may think that Valentin Yurievich comes up with his fairy-tale characters - Pencil and Samodelkin. They were invented by the writer's father - Yuri Druzhkov. Currently, Valentin Postnikov, whose books are published not only in Russia, but also in Belarus, Bulgaria and even China, has already produced more than two dozen editions in bound volumes. Moreover, the children's storyteller wrote about twenty radio shows for little listeners.

Noteworthy is the fact that in 2012 in the capital of the Urals Federal District was created a full-length animated product called "The first adventures of Pencil and Samodelkin" (studio "Hot chocolate").

Crisis of domestic animation

The writer Valentin Postnikov is a frequent guest of kindergartens and schools. He tries to instill the interest of children in the classical characters of Russian works, written specifically for young readers.

The modern storyteller asks the children if they know who Neznayka, Pencil, Samodelkin, Cheburashka are. Unfortunately, today parents do not have enough time to read to their child "Neznayka on the Moon" or "Crocodile Gena and his friends." Kids are better known heroes of foreign animation, such, for example, as Shrek or Zorro.

Writer - for domestic product

To fill this gap and restore the former interest to the heroes of the domestic cartoons, Valentin Yuryevich once went on an unusual, albeit commercial, reception. In one of his works he used the same words as the author of sensational works about the wizard Harry Poterra. Her name is Joan Rowling. As a result, the tale "Boy Harry and the Dog Potter", written by Postnikov, became a favorite for a huge number of our children. Valentin Yuryevich expresses his apparent dissatisfaction with the fact that the lion's share in the domestic book production market is made up of foreign tales, while the Russian is given a more modest place.

He tries to draw attention to this problem with all available methods. Together with other masters, words that resist the dominance of foreign works for children, the writer Postnikov Valentin once initiated a demarche under the sonorous title: "Samodelkin! Pencil! Harry Potter - you're not ours! ". At the same time, the writer stated that he has nothing against the fact that Harry Potter was broadcast on domestic television and sold on book shelves.

He is indignant at the fact that today there is no emphasis on the heroes of Russian fairy tales and cartoons, and as a result they are forgotten.

Interesting fact

It is noteworthy that when a children's writer tied himself up in marriage with his first wife, he was offered to choose as his nickname the surname of his wife, who was Cheburashkin, and he accordingly became Valentin Cheburashkin. But the children's storyteller did not agree to such a step.

Fairy-tale characters Pencil and Samodelkin over fifty years. And today you need to do everything possible to ensure that the interest in domestic animation was as high as that of foreign.
