"Workshop" Kozlova - theater, insanely popular in St. Petersburg and beyond. The culprit of such popular love is its founder, Honored Artist of Russia, Grigory Kozlov.

In 2015, the theater celebrated a double anniversary: the sixtieth birthday of Grigory Kozlov and the fifth anniversary of the founding of the theater. Creation of theater

The most interesting is that all the actors are graduates of the theater studio G.M. Kozlov, where they are affectionately called "kids". The guys are almost the same age, they know each other for a long time, which allows them to improvise on stage, create a truly friendly atmosphere.

Stages

The repertoire at the theater is the most diverse, more dramatic productions for Chekhov, Dostoyevsky, Bulgakov, Sholokhov. But the play of the children is so fascinating, everything happens as plausibly as in life, where there is a place and tragedies, and comedies, that the viewer does not understand what kind of production he came up: comic or dramatic.

The master himself deals with the arrangements, as well as his students. Among the last performances there is one, unusual in its content. This is the play "Love and Lenin," where the leader of the revolution is shown as an ordinary weak man who loves two women. The director is Roman Gabriya. Grigory Mikhailovich Kozlov

Gregory Mikhailovich was born in 1955, during the "thaw". In 1976 he entered the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute, completed it and worked as an engineer for three years. At age 28, he decided to change his life, and, supported by his mother, entered the director's department of LGITMiK. All his further work was connected with the theater. The director likes to say that he combines business with pleasure: he does his favorite business and receives money for it.
